Got this as a Christmas gift and we use it quite often! Not sure if we should have "seasoned" it first, but we burned chicken in it the first time, however, the burnt NEVER stayed on the Cuisinart! It came right up! That is impressive and therefore, would recommend to anyone and I would buy more Cuisinart pans!

The pan is a good size, is incredibly light, and easy to use. However, it burns easily and gets quite dirty just by heating it up, even before using it. It is also not easy to clean. Therefore, if you want to do stir frys, you are much better off with a wok that can be seasoned so it doesn't stick.

This wok is a substantial gauge stainless steel and looks great. The handle is sturdy and permits a secure grip for tossing the stir fry food. The partial flat bottom allows use on ranges without a curved wok burner grate. the 14" diameter is large and allows cooking larger portions without worrying about spilling food.

In summary, this is exactly the wok I wanted and expected from Cuisinart! I’ve had several different types of woks in my many years on Earth and this is the best! There’s no need to season this pan as all that’s necessary for clean up is a little soak in soapy water then use a dish brush or washcloth to clean it out. For stains on the bottom, just make a paste of baking soda and gently rub it off with a soft sponge.
Does this review glow too much? Not one bit!!!
