It does what's it supposed to do, stir fry. However, even with a medium medium heat, it leaves a rainbow stain at the bottom of the pan

This is my first time cooking on Stainless steel. I took a leap and tried Cuisinart’s wok, and I love it. It’s a bit bigger and wider than my old Calphalon wok so I am getting used to the size difference. I’ve cooked scrambled eggs in it (for fried rice) and a sauce, stir-fried vegetables, and made fried rice. It took me a few tries to get the proper butter/oil coating down to prevent sticking to the pan, but do it right and your results are amazing. The cleanup was easy -despite the bulky wok - and Bar Keepers Friend polishes the stainless steel to look like new. I love cooking batches of meat and vegetables for stir fry in this! It is the perfect addition to my Cuisinart stainless steel set. I know not everyone cooks with a wok, but it is one of my favorite kitchen items and Cuisinart has made a terrific piece! The glass lid is not really necessary ( you don’t need a lid for stir fry generally speaking; it makes things mushy) but it’s nice to have. I just wish it were less wide, that’s all!

I purchased this because you have to have a wok for stir fry and this one matches the stainless Calphalon pans that we have. It's not as heavy duty as the Calphalon, but works well. I like it and will recommend it.
