Every morning you have a cup of coffee to start your day and this La Specialista machine is the best way to do it. From the perfectly ground coffee from the hopper to the easy to clean and ergonomically design, there's quality and luxury in every centimeter. Highly recommend to both the coffee connoisseur (which I am not) and the daily drinker that just wants a more fun and exciting experience. Cheers, and hope you get the same enjoyment as my wife and I do!

Easy to use and stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my morning coffee...you could say I am some what addicted but only to really good coffee made right. The La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine hits the head on the nail for me. Setup was fairly simple at around 20 min and has great instructions and quick start guide. This machine has great features like active temperature control (dual heating systems for coffee and milk), smart tamping station for that perfect repeatable amount for espresso and a sensor grinder to grind your bean to the perfect espresso grind. This machine has a dedicated hot water spout to make an authentic americano as well. It really makes a great latte with its superb milk frother. Clean up was also a breeze as there is little to no grinds to clean up. I love the way this espresso maker looks sitting on my counter...so stylish and professional looking. I can honestly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a great espresso machine that will take the guesswork out of your coffee making journey.

It is a must-have for any espresso lover. I have saved so much money having this in my home rather than going to local coffee shops. It is easy to set up and so easy to use. It makes the absolute best tasting espresso ever. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Espresso machine to replace an older different brand espresso machine that was just about worn out.
My first impression was how attractive this one is. Beautiful shiny stainless that really dresses up my kitchen.
I’m also impressed with some features my old machine didn’t have.
The built in tamper makes a perfectly level tamp each time and eliminates the mess of spilled coffee grounds from the grinder to the counter which I always had to clean up.
The second feature I really like is the ability to make an Americano in one step rather than having to make an espresso and then having to add water afterwards. I always have an Americano in the morning and have lattes later in the day.
I use exclusively a dark roast Sumatran coffee and it took a few tries to get the machine dialed in properly for this coffee. Even with the coffee dose dial turned all the way up, I couldn’t get the dose cup quite to the proper level and was not able to get the pressure meter up past around the 8 o’clock position. After consulting the user manual, I found that the dose level could be programmed to a 2nd range which solved the problem. I now have the dose dial at midway point, get the proper dose in the cup, and the pressure moves to the proper position (11 to 12 o’clock on the meter) each brew.
Now that the machine is properly set up for my particular coffee, I’m getting the perfect brew consistently every time whether an espresso or Americano.
All in all, this machine is well thought out, very attractive, easy to use and makes the best coffee I’ve ever had. What more could you ask for?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DeLonghi La Specialista is a well designed and high performance espresso machine. It is engineered to allow for drink customization in a wide variety of ways, including the ability to adjust ground courseness, the amount and level of compression of your tampering, and the type of coffee (espresso, Americana, or coffee). The nicest part is the ease of use. Within minutes, you can go from novice to expert barista in your own home. The hardware is all very heavy-duty, durable, and high quality. All together this is a fantastic espresso machine and highly recommended. The only possible downside is that the space between tampering and brewing feels tight, however it’s compact design is also intended to save counter space which is also considered a plus. Either way, it’s very manageable. Also, set up was a breeze compared to other espresso machines I’ve tried. Very straightforward and simple process. The ability to steam/froth milk for a latte works very well too. I love that this machine does not require a specially purchased pod, but you can use actual beans. It tastes so much better and opens up your freedom to choose your preferred roast and bean. Now, I just need to practice my latte art!
