[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just what we imagined it would be! We are so satisfied with this espresso machine and all the options it provides. The only issue we found was it took a little while to learn how to use. The user manual was quite confusing, especially the picture, step by step guide. It made next to no sense. After a bit of trial and error we figured it out and are very pleased with everything about it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this espresso machine. The first moment I unboxed it, I could tell how high quality it was -- a huge step up from our old machine. It was incredibly easy to set up, clean, and use. As a mother of a 9 month old daughter, I've needed a good cappuccino in the morning and this product certainly delivers. My daughter loves watching me froth the milk! The cappuccinos, espressos, lattes, and coffee that this machine makes are absolutely delicious. It did take some time to figure out the milk frother, but after a lot of trial and error, I'm finally able to make the most impressive coffee drinks (you have to hold the frothing wand at the very very surface of the milk). The only thing I didn't like about this machine is the automatic grinder-- once you put the portafilter into the grinder area and snap it into place, it automatically starts grinding. The only way I've figured out how to stop it is to turn the machine off. This has been an issue for two reasons: sometimes my husband forgets to tamp the grounds and takes the portafilter off just to realize he has to tamp and slides it back, (but then the grinder grinds again) and sometimes I accidentally put the single filter in the portafilter and after grinding I realize the X2 button is depressed, meaning the grinder put twice as much grounds into the filter. Both these things are completely user-error, and it's luckily happened a lot less often now that we have had the machine for awhile. Funny enough, my favorite part of this machine is also the integrated grinder, despite its issues listed above. We no longer have to pre-grind our beans and let them get stale. The integrated grinder ensures the perfect cup of coffee, and the suggested grind and temperature settings ensures no matter what you brew, it's perfect. The machine is incredibly easy to use as long as you're paying attention to the buttons that are depressed. I highly recommend this machine to all my friends and family!

Excellent Espresso Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this espresso machine. It is easy to use and the drinks turn out perfectly. The lights on the display remind you what step you are on, which we find particularly helpful isn’t the morning when we are packing lunches, etc. while making our coffee drinks. The machine has many customs settings which allow you to adjust your drinks to your personal preferences. It also grinds just the right amount of beans each time so your coffee always tastes fresh. You also have the option to pick a double or single shot, and there are auto settings for espresso, americanos and coffee. The frother turns the milk very creamy. This machine is easy to clean and the quality feels excellent. My husband even uses it almost daily, and with ease, which is not true of our past machines. Highly recommend!

Great when it works

I had this machine for roughly 9 months and it worked great, easy to use and minimal mess when compared to any other semi-automatic machine. At the 9-month mark the machine stopped working properly and after a month of back and forth they brought my machine in and repaced it with a new "certified recondition" machine... the replacement machine shows up with a broken piece of hardware and after another month of back and forth they brought the replacement machine back in, replaced the hardware and reset the grinder/tamper. I received the "repaired" machine back and after 3 uses the grinder stopped working.... For how much the machine costs, its been a giant burden and hassle over the last 3 + months. Its great when it works but very hard to recommend to someone else.. Hoping that this is the last time I have to send the machine in for repair/replacement but at this moment I am really regretting my decision to go with this machine. It's my 3rd Delonghi product but this might do me for good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Starbucks in your home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is fantastic for a coffee addict who is tired of handing away their money. Now you can be your own barista! The built-in coffee grinder makes for free cups of coffee which you can grind to your preference, the milk steamer is easy to use and you can get fancy with latte art in the comfort of your own home, and the multi-settings comes in handy if it's just you or if you have multiple guests. The machine is easy to clean, which is necessary especially because of the milk frother and it doesn't obviously show fingerprints on the machine. Short spaces beware, my only grip is that it's so big. It's much bigger than I anticipated it to be so I had to get creative about its placement. Overall, fantastic investment - save your money and put it towards an in-home espresso machine.

So in love with my machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this espresso machine! I honestly don't know why I haven't got one earlier. the quality of the coffee is unmatched, and I seriously think that this will make any coffee bean taste good. This is worth the money to spend especially if you are a coffee fan and you have been working from home and you want a professional tasting coffee. I seriously don't think I will be heading to a coffee shop as often/
my only advice is that you learn as much as you can, read the material that is sent with it, watch youtube videos, make sure you understand how to use it correctly before engaging. I would have given it five stars but I left out a star because of the user friendliness. it is very intimidating even after, but after some practice, it will be the best thing ever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine makes a perfect cup of coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This De’Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso machine looks amazing. I was initially intimidated by it and didn't know where to start. Well! turns out you have to start with reading the manual instructions first and then it is pretty much easy to try the basic operation from there.
When I started using this, I was a little too careful and scared of breaking something but soon my fears were put aside with the learning process. The entire machine is metal and has that heavy duty feel.
There are many settings that can be manually tweaked to make the coffee to your preferred taste. It has a 6 setting grinder, a smart tamping system, and a steaming/frothing solution. There is also an easy to read gauge which allows you to get the perfect cup with no guess work.
You can also select the ground size, the amount and how much you pack in the tamper.
After a couple of days, and a few failures, I got the hang of it. Finally made a cup of coffee just the way I like it.
When you begin, you do have to work with it for a while but once you get the hang of the grinding, tamping, and steaming/frothing it feels like victory of very good cup of heart desired coffee.
Now I am an expert with the prep, brew and clean up process.
Overall, this manual machine coffee simply taste better. If you are unfamiliar with this type of machine like I was, no worries. There is a bit of a learning process, but it shouldn’t take you more than a few tries to get the perfect cup.
On top of everything, De’Longhi gives you a 2 year warranty, plus 1 more year with registration.
