Piece of you know what - unusable after 2yrs

If you’re looking for a machine that makes you a great espresso - this isn’t it. If you want a beautiful, sleek, expensive counter ornament… you’ve found your product. First I thought I’d lost it after my initial descaling attempt. Then it was intermittently functional and nonfunctional for different reasons. After about 1.5 years of use, the steaming wand no longer emitted any steam. Exactly 2 days after my warranty expired, it stopped producing any espresso and the dosing dial broke off. I’ve had nothing but issues and deeply, deeply regret “upgrading” from my trusty Breville Barista, which worked like a champ and never gave me issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Professional Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Making a cup of hot Cappuccino at home has always been one of my fantasies. One that i thought I would never achieve. But thanks to the La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine, it happened. Although this machine is not for the novice, with help from the instructional video and a friend who was formerly a barista, I was able to achieve my goal. Now a corner of my kitchen counter looks like a full blown corner cafe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Espresso Runneth over

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit I was slightly intimidated at first, however after just a few attempts and having followed the instructions I began to brew the best assorted coffees ever!! The product was delivered as expected and "Bravo!" to the packaging engineering experts as this machine was beautifully packaged and in excellent condition. I must say this beautiful coffee machine has become the center piece of my kitchen! Everyone that visits asks me to brew them a fantastic coffee! We are using this machine at least eight to ten times a day and we absolutely LOVE it! I ran my first descaling process this week and it functioned beautifully. I simply followed the instruction provided and the machine did everything else, so simple. I can not expresso how pleased we are with the look and functionality of the La Specialista machine. The fact that the machine grinds our favorite beans automatically for us is simply fantastic! Again, We love it A latte!!

Beautiful machine if it worked

I bought this yesterday and sending it back today. The pressure gauge doesn’t move. Called support and they said it’s nothing that can be fixed! We’ve owned espresso machines for more than 40 years, this beautiful but if it doesn’t work it’s not worth a penny. Very disappointed back to Breville it lasted 14 years!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE this Espresso Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to preface this review with the fact I love coffee and espresso. I’ve tried various ways of preparation (pods, stovetop, mid-higher end models of espresso machines), and this is hands down my favorite machine!
The machine was easy to set up, and once I took it out of the box, was instantly in love. I’m not typically a fan of keeping things on my countertop, but with this machine - I don’t mind. The design is sleek as well as beautiful. We are actually in the process of a kitchen remodel, and I’m truly looking forward to having it on display in my new kitchen (reason pictures will not be attached).
Prior to our construction, I tested the model, and in comparison with other products here’s a breakdown of my “loves”
As previously mentioned - beautiful design. Easy to set up and intuitive as well. I love the smart tamping station. It’s easy to use, as well as takes the guess work out of the tamping (which has been a major frustration in the past)!
I love that this machine comes with a water hardness test as well. It’s not a factor I’ve previously considered prior to using this machine. And, upon receiving the machine and preforming the test have come to find that our water hardness is likely a factor in the quality of our espresso.
Easy to use settings are a great bonus, and the temperature level adjustment is fantastic. Not only do my husband and I enjoy varying temperatures of coffee, we enjoy different roast types (he’s light and I am bold / dark). This allows us to quickly (and effortlessly) adjust for our individual tastes and preferences in coffee.
Lastly, little details do not go unnoticed in this machine. The fact the manual actually has a quick reference guide for roasting (inclusive of dose, grind and temperature settings) for varying types of beans is great. This takes a lot of guess work out of making a great cup of espresso, and if anything, gives a general range and starting point when experimenting with a new type of bean.
The only thing I would say is a negative in my book is the size / height. Our previous kitchen (prior to remodel) had upper cabinets that did not leave enough space between the underside of the cabinets and the countertop to slide the espresso machine under (thus leaving it awkwardly placed more towards the middle of the countertop instead of against the back wall). Updated kitchen should alleviate this issue, but was still a bit frustrating.
All-in-all this makes an amazing cup of coffee / espresso, is easy to use, and did I mention beautiful!? Love this machine and think it’s well worth the investment for any / all levels of coffee drinkers.

Great Machine for first time users

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have never owned an espresso machine before this one. We were excited about all the built in functionality that takes the guess work out of preparation (grinder, tamping, pulling…)
There is a small learning curve to set the machine up and dial in the dosage/grind setting. But the manual and o line resources are excellent. Haha once you’ve got your settings to your liking it’s SO EASY. I look forward to a latte every morning now. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking to get into espresso making!
The machine is super easy to maintain and clean. Overall low maintenance.

Sleek and delicious

And the most important part - the espresso is absolutely delicious! Following the instructions, the machine makes it very easy to pull the perfect espresso and cappuccino drinks. Definitely read the user manual and familiarize yourself with the different settings to get the most out of this espresso machine! I love how it’s the all in one cafe experience in my own home! If you love coffee get this, you will not regret it at all. Extremely generous water tank and ultra fast bean grinder makes for a very user friendly experience
I would recommend this to a friend!
