[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine is an excellent machine! I have been extremely pleased with the espresso it produces! It was very easy to set up out of the box and the brewing experience of this machine is unmatched. The sensor grinding technology in this machine is a great feature as it provides a perfect amount of grounds each time. I’ve loved that this seems to produce very little waste. The built in tamper also adds to the ease of use of this machine. This machine makes it so easy to adjust settings as needed to make the best espresso. I also like that the drip tray is fully removable and easily taken apart for easy cleaning. It is evident that De’Longhi put the bells and whistles into this machine that produces excellent espresso that is quick and easy but gives the full experience of grinding and brewing your own espresso. It’s like having a coffee shop right in your own home. Highly recommended!

It has eight grinding setting so you can chose what size powder you want.it has a smart tamping station which has constant even pressure with less waste.it has active temperature control that controls over the water temperature during the brewing process.it has my art steam wand that allows you to manually make milk texturing.it has single wall filters . It has single and double size filter baskets that holds up to 21g of coffee.it has dynamic preinfusion which automatically adapts to the density of your coffee ground for and even soak.it also has grinding sensor to help reliever your ideal coffee grind.overall this is the perfect espresso machine to have!!

Didn’t work at all. And DeLonghi offered no replacement option. Decided to go with Breville instead and have been happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay – let me just start off by saying that my husband loved this so much he literally took it on vacation! We were taking a two week (driving) vacation and insisted that we could live without it. I did give him a hard time but I will admit I was happy to have it! The De’Longhi La Specialista Prestigio was easy to set up - it did take a bit to dial in the way we like our coffee brewed, but once we found the right settings, we pretty much leave them where they are and our coffees / lattes are very consistent from cup to cup. We’ve also noticed that because we are making individual cups, we have saved quite a bit of money on coffee beans (not to mention that we have also cut down on coffee shop visits). It’s great to be able to steam the milk / half and half / oat milk for lattes or just to have a warm “creamer” – I only wish I could steam at the same time my coffee is brewing. I am someone who does not like appliances on my counter – but I don’t mind this one! While it does fit underneath the counter top, refilling the bean or water station means having to move the whole thing. The machine is beautiful and beefy and it’s easy to clean. I love that this machine does it all – grinds, pours and steams – with lots of settings for the perfect cup.

Quiet machine that makes a great cup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have found the De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine to be a fantastic, easy-to-use espresso machine that looks and feels well designed and manufactured. We use it daily (often multiple times in the day if I am being honest) to make espresso and steamed milk beverages and could not be happier! The machine is super quiet and easily produces high-quality cappuccino.
In our home, the predominant use of this machine is making lattes and cappuccinos. We have successfully used the steamer to make delightful foam for our drinks and have found it to be a real upgrade from other machines. The steam wand is powerful enough to quickly produce thick velvety milk that is not overly wet. This is awesome for coffee drinks and for kids drinks allowing us to easily make steamers for the littles. I would love if the steam wand had a bit more flexibility in the angle, but we have been able to make it work even in our tight space.
The integrated grinder and smart tamping station are awesome; this feature really smooths the process of making espresso in the morning. I really appreciate how much the grinder/tamping station reduces the grind mess over traditional machines where the grinding and tamping is a separate step. While It did take a few tries to get the grind and grind volume set correctly, the process was not hard. It is well documented in the manual and, once you figure it out, it is easy to switch between different coffees. The smart tamping station has also been really helpful in producing a more consistent cup of espresso as you can really fine-tune the tamping to achieve the optimal pressure during extraction.
After about two months of use, the machine has needed to be cleaned once. The cleaning process was simple and easy to perform. It does take a little bit of time (not unexpected, but good to know so you plan for it) but the process is fully automated and the results were good.
After several months of daily use, the machine has performed consistently and we have been very happy with the drinks produced. The ease and consistency with which we can make high-quality drinks for the whole family is a welcomed addition to our day!

This machine is STUNNING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, the De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine is a STUNNING machine! It took a while to get the hang of it, but now I feel like I am on my way to being a quasi-pro barista.
I am a busy mom of 3 who works full time. One of my favorite parts of the day is my morning coffee! I never drink coffee black, so the latte features of the De'Longhi were really important to me.
The guides / info provided in the box are extremely helpful, as when you first unpack the machine it can be a bit daunting. I carefully checked what products were needed (i.e. beans, milk, etc.) and was so excited to get started!
The machine itself takes a lot of the guesswork out of making the perfect drink. For instance, I was worried that I would use too much or too little coffee. However, the instructions and the Smart Tamping system completely take the guesswork out of that. I was also pleasantly surprised at how clean the overall grinding / tamping process was. Compared to an espresso machine I had years ago, there is virtually NO mess! I was anticipating grounds all over my counter, and that was not the case at all. Wow!
There are so many helpful features on this machine I don't even know where to start. I really like the "2x" button as that lets you get a double espresso. I am also learning more about the temperature settings that result in a perfect cup!
The machine itself looks just plain beautiful on your countertop. I really love all of the sleek knobs and buttons, and I also like that there is no digital display. I think it makes it look classier.
Overall, this machine works pretty fast too -- you can get your latte in a few minutes! I've heard from others who have bigger machines that the steaming function for a latte, for instance, takes a lot longer to heat up than this De'Longhi .
In terms of cons to this machine, there aren't many. If you are used to single-pod use type machine, this one certainly has more of a learning curve and takes longer overall to make a latte or espresso. But, it's worth it! I am also still learning how to make a latte and make it pretty, but the taste overall is amazing.I highly recommend the De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio!

Beauty and Function In a Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine is not only esthetically pleasing but works well! I was able to make espresso easily in my home and saving myself time and money. I usually buy drinks on my way to and from work during the week. Those drinks add up. The quality of espresso produced by this machine is on par with what I usually buy.
The espresso machine is easy to set up. It has a tank you fill with water and if you get stuck there are very easy to follow videos by De'Longhi online.
It is very well built and looks beautiful on my countertop. I really liked the "My" button feature. It allows you to save your tweaked drink settings so you can make have the drink made the way you like it without changing the settings each time.
The only thing I struggle with is the steam wand. It is well made and works well. I just need more practice. If you are proficient at using one then you should really enjoy the wand on this machine.
I highly recommend this machine. It is well built, easy to use, and beautiful.
