Amazing kitchen addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want restaurant & café quality espresso's and cappuccino's - then this is your machine. It's well made, very solid, and very durable. It's user-friendly and space-saving without sacrificing quality. You will use whole beans in this machine and have your choice of 8 grinding settings, giving you a fresh brew every single cup. You have control over the water temperature, so you will never be stuck with a cold drink. The steam wand is my favorite part, you can froth as much as you'd like. Another great feature is the single/double size filter baskets. It's easy to clean and it looks fabulous in my kitchen. I get many compliments on this sweet piece (and also many requests). I would highly recommend if you enjoy espresso. Save yourself the time and money and make it yourself!

Delicious cappuccino

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is fun to use. My husband is a coffee geek and really enjoys tinkering to get it just right. This is our first manual espresso machine and we use it almost every day. It has just the right amount of control from dose size, grind settings, and temperature while still providing automatic features like grinding the beans and a built-in tamper lever. The extra control of this manual machine makes superior espresso drinks when compared to any fully automatic machines we have used in the past. No it is not as fast as an automatic and it has a slight learning curve, but once you start using it and drinking the coffee, you will understand the value in taking a few extra minutes. I recommend watching the product videos on making espresso and frothing the milk and you will be making tasty goodness in no time. It also has a dial to create longer pulls for coffee and americanos. The build quality is solid. Stainless steel parts throughout the exterior, nice burr grinder and a heavy portafilter. It looks great on the countertop and reminds us of our time in Italy. We would recommend it anyone who really enjoys espresso, cappuccinos, and the experience of making coffee.

Sleek and Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine is an impressive machine. It looks like it belongs in coffee shop but is surprisingly easy to use. I am an avid coffe drinker who drinks multiple cups of espresso a day. I love that this machine makes it easy for me to make coffee shop worthy drinks at home. This machince makes high quality espresso drinks. I love that it has settings for espresso, coffee, and Americano. Each setting brews a smooth cup. It is so nice that the Americano feature ensures the proper water to espresso ratio. The steamer wand is easy to use. My favorite feature is the built in coffee grinder that grinds the perfect amount for each use. It alsoeliminates the need to have a seperate coffee grinder. The one con of the machine is its large size. The machine is so tall that it barely fits underneath my kitchen cabinets. I have to move the machine out to add coffee beans or water, but that is a small price to pay for the other amazing features of the machine. It is now a staple in my daily espresso routine. I highly recommend this espresso machine to anyone who makes espresso drinks regularly.

We got this for ourselves for Christmas - it has never worked. We sent it to De’Longhi. They sent it back. It doesn’t work again. No pressure, then too much pressure and no espresso, air locked. I mean this is just a bag of issues. I wish it worked because it is a nice machine. I just want my money back to be honest.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio Espresso Machine is a pretty amazing machine. It makes excellent coffee beverages and, with a little practice, is fun to use.
My favorite features are the self-tamping station and and they ability to adjust water temp. It turns on quickly and there isn’t a lot of water waste. And the steam wand adds to the fun.
Some reasons it’s not my favorite machine in my pantry. It has a very large footprint taking up a good amount of counter space. The water container is on the back, making it harder to fill. It’s not a first-cup machine for me. I need something less involved for my wake-up cup of coffee.
Overall, this machine stands up exceptionally to the name of De'Longhi. It is a really nice machine. It makes delicious coffee beverages. And it is fun to use, once you get comfortable with it. Plus it looks über cool.

Making amazing drinks now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm really happy with the product after using it for more than month and after some early frustrations I'm pulling quality espressos, lattes and Americano. This is my first espresso machine Even though it's my favorite coffee drink So although it comes with instructions I still watch YouTube video for it but oh my god I've been making the most amazing drinks now. This machine is a wonder, And I can guarantee you once you get one you'll be using it on the daily.
