I use it to clean my tile floors and it does a great job. The only downside is it leaves some streaks.

Love this little mop

I love it recognizes carpet and I don't have to block off. I didn't realize it doesn't clean the whole floor just what it detects is dirty this is great as it can most likely complete job before filling water tank It seems to work well

Dumb but works

I find my Braava's navigation abilities to be disappointing. My apartment has rooms that aren't square or rectangular and it seems to have quite a bit of trouble with that. Plus in my opinion, the map takes way too long to generate accurately. I should be able to scan my house with my phone to create a map, but instead I have to wait for the mop to do it multiple times. It also feels like the mop doesn't very well understand the path it took and isn't using all its sensors to the best ability. AI should be able to use computer vision to see things, such as the route to get back home, however because my dock isn't way too out in the open as recommended, it regularly gets stuck and needs me to go put it back. All that said, I bought this because I hate mopping and wanted something to just 'get it done' regularly. Most of the time, this 'gets it done' with only a little bit of input (on avg. I intervene one time every other mopping), I virtually don't have to lift a finger, and the floors seemed to have improved. So I'm going to keep at it, but with muted expectations.

We are snowbirds, living in Florida and a lot of dirt and sand come into the house. We have the mop set to clean areas of the house when we are not using them. It mops the entire house twice a week and does a fantastic job. I was really impressed when the mop did its mapping trip. It was pretty accurate. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars was, it was not going into certain areas and going into other areas that I didn't want it to go. After I found the tools in the app to put in a "do not clean" area and the "threshold" tool things really improved. Surely worth the investment!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleans great but needs work

The robot mops great and the software interface is really good. However, the base and the robot don't work well together....at least on my model. Once the cleaning is done the robot will not dock on the base. I have reported the issue to IRobot Customer Support but it has been over 3 weeks and the issue still is not resolved. I have sent numerous requested photos and emails but I have not heard a word in over one week from my last sent communication. This needs work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
