Would not buy this again

Like several reviews here I loved this mop when I first got it. Ordered as a package along with the vacuum and automatic emptying station. About a year in I started having issues. It stopped reporting when the tank was empty and kept mopping when empty. CS and online FAQs weren't able to help. It sort of started working ok and I monitored the tank whenever in use. Then it stopped charging. Tried all the suggestions. Also bought a new battery. That seemed to help for the next few times I used it. Then stopped charging. After many resets and cleanings it seemed to work again. But only for a little while. Now a few months out of warranty it seems dead. Won't connect. Occasionally flashes a white light ring but generally won't respond. This is not an inexpensive item but now I'm faced with replacing it or giving up on the robot mop all together. Very disappointed. The vacuum is great. Too bad the mop isn't the same quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing mopping robot!

I had an old Scooba and it basically died after many, many years of use. Since iRobot doesn't make a Scooba anymore, I had to try the M6. I was very SUS because of the mixed reviews but took the dive anyways. Well, I am glad to report that this M6 is quiet, does a great job and I have had NO ISSUES that the others have complained about - not docking, etc.. Mine runs in the kitchen which then goes over into the living room. It can't get into the back of the house because we have runners (only negative). The M6 runs almost every night and we swap the reusable pad every morning. The M6 can easily do 600 sqft with 1 tank. You do have to manually swap out the pad and check the level of the tank. BUT, that's about it. The floors feel clean. When you walk barefoot, you can feel the difference. So happy and I'm sure it will last another 7 or 8 years. Scooba, you did a great job time to visit the old robots in the recycle bin. M6, keep chugging!

If I could give is a zero, that's appropriate. I couldn't get it to work more than 7 times. Then it couldn't be fixed and they sent a new one. Then that worked about 5 times. That was went back and the same process happened 2 more times until I gave up. Never in my life have I experienced such frustration with a product that just flat out doesn't work. Don't waste your time or money on this junk.

Clean floors all the time!

I am very pleased with my new mop, my LVP floors haven't looked this good since the cleaning lady. I mop the kitchen, living room , hallway and mud room each at least twice a week and my house is 2700sqft. We have several dogs in the house and the mop has made a huge difference in keeping the floors clean when we run it after the j7 vacuum. It took about three mapping runs over the course of 2 days to get my house mapped. I does great going where I send it. The only thing I wish was different is that it doesn't always mope with the grain of the LVP planks, in some rooms it mops "the wrong direction" if you will. Bottom line is I would buy this 100 times over. I have just owned it about a month so hopefully I feel this way in a year!

Do Not Buy. Nozzle defective. Spray stops after short time

Leaves streaks all over the place. Spray quality deteriorated fairly quickly then stopped working altogether. Cleaning nozzle and filter did not help. iRobot not helpful. Probably used 20 times. They want $125 to fix. Product clearly defective or not designed well. DO NOT BUY

Very unhappy I have been using it once a week for 2 years. It has stopped working. Inside it is all robbed and the contacts completely inoperative. Disaster. How can a robot where water is filtered be sold? ... Now I have no guarantee.

I would rather mop by hand!!

This mop has been a problem since we bought it.....a VERY expensive problem. We have had it fewer than 2 years and have had to call iRobot 3 times. List of our issues: -arrived without a battery -error msgs over and over that tank is empty when it is full (cust service wants ME to pay for a new tank!!) -spins in circles -will stop in the middle of a cleaning cycle for absolutely no reason to drive across the room to bump into a wall It is unreal that this thing is even on the market! It is like iRobot put their very first prototype on the market and decided the consumer would be the guinea pigs at a VERY high price...both in terms of money AND frustration on the part of the consumer..
