Customer service/tech support did a great job helping me fix the issues with my mop (which I love) and my vacuum. Thank you for saving me! I have a slobbery dog so I like to run this mop once a week just to remove all the spots I can see on our hard floors and then sometimes I will mop with a regular mop to get a deeper clean. This mop really helps me keep the floor reasonably clean so I never have to worry about people coming over and seeing the filth we actually live in.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Utter waste of money

The only reason I am giving 2 stars to this is because it did a decent job while it lasted, which was less than 2 years. I bought this in 2020 and had paid lot more than what it is sold for now. Within a couple of months, it stopped working and they replaced the base plate under warranty. Some time back, it stopped working.. now the problem was with the water tank. Although initially, they insisted that I have to buy the replacement tank at my cost, after I wrote my review, they sent me the replacement tank as "one time exception". However, the same error continued even after I replaced the tank. Upon contacting technical support, after going through the trouble shooting, he finally concluded that I need to replace the whole mop. This mop was used barely once or twice a month and it was used for mopping only a very small section of my house. And it didn't last 2 years also. Definitely not worth the money I paid for this. There are plenty of mops that can do far better job than this for far cheaper price. iRobot should stick to its vacuums.

I have been using this for a little over a year, and it is definitely not a replacement for actual moping, but good for keeping the floors clean-er, and is basically what I expected going in. The main issue that makes it not super effective is that it only makes a single pass on any part of the floor, and watching it, I can see that the spray is not always covering the whole area. If any area needs a bit more scrubbing, it is not effective at all, since it doesn't have the weight nor the passes to really clean. The cleaning solution is way too expensive for the amount of use you get. I only get one or two cleanings on a single tank. Because of that, I've been using a third-party floor cleaner that seems to work well and hasn't caused any issues. I would really only recommend this to tech nerds like me who like the gimmick.

Had issues from the start, would not sync maps with the J9 and rarely docked. Got stuck 90% of the time.

After having the robot you have to observe how it performs and check the pads consistently for replacement. The robot also has a major issue with undocking as well as thresholds in the house hold. The main problem is just undocking. The divits on the docking platform keep robot from gaining traction to remove from Platform. It sits there and just spins its wheels. As well as the battery has already failed in the unit.

bought 2 years ago, and now it won't charge. tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling the battery. The trouble shooting info on app is so vague and homogenized, it's like rocket science! And much more trouble than getting out my O-Cedar mop from the closet and just mopping myself! Also the cleaning solution is always out of stock when I need some. I've spent more time trying to get it to work than I ever did mopping.

This robot does what it's supposed to but cannot navigate

This robot, unlike my vacuum, cannot go over normal transitions. If I want it to do more than my kitchen (mind you my whole house is on one floor and all hard surface) I have to pick it up and start the mop from the unit anywhere I have transition. It will not go over normal transitions which makes it more of a pain than a blessing. I would not recommend you buy this unless your floors are 100% flat all the way through where you want it to mop.
