Got off to a rough start, couldn’t get connected to phones. LOCKLY sent out a new lock, and support has been very good. We’re now up and running. I’m some what hard of hear, and as for the door bell, I can’t hear it from 10ft away, very dim. I believe I would go LOCKLY again.
I bought this somewhat hesitantly feeling like I could just save the money and pity not the fool who breaks into my apartment. Then I realized how important feeding my chihuahuas is and how maintaining a remote unlocking and video doorbell is mandatory for keeping them spoiled. This and just one camera near the safe behind the laser grid pointing inward above the door to my walk in closet; next Ineed to install a pan and tilt camera and another pan and tilt mount for my AR that automatically switches on along with triggering my electric blinds and curtains and dance floor lighting and mount it all next to an Inflatable shark costume wrapped around a large teddy bear...

Success with Smart Lock

First time user of the smart lock. a lot of features and flexibility. Once I got everything set up, the lock met all of my security needs. I have multiple people that need access to the location, and the lockly app got everyone setup easily, and gives me a detailed log of all the activities

One of the best smart locks purchased

Simple install. Only con is the camera does not work well at night. No night vision. My porch is well lit so not a dealbreaker. I recommend getting a multi-lock cylinder to swap the Schlage it comes with. It’s plug n play to swap. Keep in mind if you have a screen door the camera will be blocked if you want to view live-feeds. Also it requires router to plug the hub it comes with. Similar to Phillips bulbs. Fingerprint works well. Better than my prior kwikset. Can’t say much about battery life. It does require 8 AA so we’ll see. All in all I’m happy with my purchase

So convenient for getting in & out of the house using just fingerprint and auto locking, including for young kids who don't need keys or remember codes. Also have used remotely providing codes to family to get in while away. Works for us
Have had it installed now for about 1 month, love it so far. My only gripe is with the camera quality. This is an issue I'm sure they will resolve in the future. All the other features work great. Very pleased.

I received the lock few days back and installed today. The build is very nice from front and back side, installation is easy and instructions are well written. I in fact did everything from the book itself, i did not use the BILT app they mentioned. Only thing is the LOCKLY app, device registration, codes, guest codes and finger print setup related instructions could have been mentioned in separate booklet and in more details.. I am yet to setup fingerprint and OAC etc..

Great features for STR / AirBNB properties

First off the install was super easy! Just followed the online video/steps and didn't have a single issue. I was even able to remove the lock to paint the door and re-install just as easily.
We bought this lock to help streamline our property management for our STR. This lock has provided us with peace of mind on multiple levels.
One that it gives us real time control and visibility to our home (status, visual and audio). No more guessing on what is going on with our front door. We can lock/unlock the door easily from the app from anywhere. We can even talk with the guest if they are having any challenges and resolve them real time. We even had an opportunity to stop an unauthorized user trying to access our property. The app/lock made it very easy to ensure he didn't gain access as well as record him / talk to him in the process. It's like you're standing behind the closed/locked door looking thru the old time peep hole but you can be anywhere in the world.
The ability to control access remotely is the primary reason we decided to go with this lock vs. some others. This helps us and our guests to make sure that codes are not reused and are custom for each guest and can easily be reset at will. All in all as we gain more properties this will be our go to smart lock of choice!
We've already had other STR property owners near ours ask about our lock and we gladly shared our experience. They have all started to integrate these locks into their property portfolio.
