So Many Options to Unlock the Door!!

I have owned other keypad locks and the buttons have worn out to the point where you can tell what numbers have been repeatedly punched and someone could easily watch you enter your code. I have also had WIFI enabled locks that connect to your phone or fob to lock/unlock the door but have never been reliable enough to ditch my keys. This lock solves those problems. I now have no worries about leaving the house without my keys.
Packed with Features:
In my opinion the best part about the lock is the fingerprint scanner. It stores up to 100 fingerprints and works quickly and consistently. The second option is using your code on the touch screen which is also very responsive and has two options for settings. One where the numbers move after each touch (safer but a little slow to enter your code) and one where the numbers only move each time you use it. Third option is locking/unlocking through WIFI using the Lockly app. Fourth option is the key that comes with the lock. And a fifth option, if you are inside your house, is to use Alexa to control your lock.

The app works well and has many functions such as: adjusting lock settings, monitoring battery status, and managing access (permanent codes, fingerprints, temporary E-badges, and temporary access codes) You can also view video and manage the storage which backs up to an included SD card.
The camera is the one area where the lock could use some improvement. It is clear in the daylight, but fairly grainy at night. The camera is only triggered by someone tampering with the lock or ringing the built in doorbell (which is sufficiently loud inside the house). But I was surprised there was no motion sensor. Also, the camera is mounted at an upward angle, which is great for looking at someone standing directly in front of it, but I have steps leading up to my door so it doesn't work out so well (see attached screenshot). It does have a wide angle lens so I don't see the need for the upward angle. It would help for it to be mounted level or adjustable to account for different situations.
One other cool feature is the switch on the inside of the door that disables the keypad (see green dot on interior image attached). When you unlock the door to exit it automatically flips the switch and reactivates the keypad.
Installation:
The lock was very easy to install and all the components feel premium. It took me about an hour from start to finish and I was taking my time. It comes with paper instructions but also includes directions to access a 3D installation manual through the BILT app on your phone or tablet, which I really liked. It came with two different size plates for the door side but only one size (larger) for the frame side. The smaller one fit the existing cut out on my door and frame so on the frame side I just left the existing plate which worked fine. The only thing I didn't like about the install was that the upper part of the lock (inside and out) and the open/close sensor is attached to the door with a double sided tape. This is concerning because the tape was custom shaped and pre installed on the lock so I wonder how it is going to work if I ever want to move the lock to another door. This lock also comes with the WIFI hub that is needed to connect it to the internet and allow you to control and adjust settings from your phone. The setup was simple. I did have a few connection errors when setting up my keypad code but after a few tries it worked and I have had no problems since.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this LOCKLY Vision Smart Lock + Video Doorbell yesterday and it was SO much easier than my previous smart lock. I followed the instructions and downloaded the BILT app which provided me with step by step instructions in video form and it took me less than 30 minutes to complete installation. The lock is rather large but it’s sleek and stylish. The lockly app is easy to navigate with clear and precise prompts. My one and only complaint about this lock is that I was hoping I could use it as a camera to see my front lawn but unfortunately my storm door blocks half of my view. I wish you could control the angle of the camera instead of having it in a fixed position.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like this smart lock and video doorbell! It works well and looks good. The sleek touchscreen is easy to use. The interactive setup instructions were very clear, and the installation was very straightforward. It did help to place the hub closer to the lock (within 50 ft range per instructions). The lock can be operated manually and unlocked with a key (included) if needed. It is really nice to be able to monitor and control the lock via the app, and the video integration is also a great feature!

High-tech door lock with video

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock system is incredible! Installation was surprisingly easy. Once set up, I was easily able to connect to my network and set up my profile. I'm able to lock/unlock the door from my phone. I also get text alerts when the door is manually lock/unlocked. Other features are the video capture at the tap of a button. The 30 second video is stored for review at a later date. Overall, I am very impressed with the system and love the brushed nickle finish. I would highly recommend.

I’m so happy I decided to splurge and purchase this. It is so incredibly convenient, easy to use, and it works exactly as expected. The fingerprint option is my favorite and works flawlessly.
This would be a 10 out of 10, except for a few minor (minor minor) things. The camera angles up slightly, so I’m not getting a full view outside my door... but this hasn’t really been an issue. It would just be cool if it were angled down a bit more. Also - motion detection would be fabulous. Sometimes I hear something outside my door and I can’t get to my app quick enough. It would be nice if it recorded based on a motion sensor.
All things considered - I love this little luxury lock, and I’ve already recommended it to a few folks.

Camera doesn’t really work in the dark so you will probably need to leave the light outside on ...the camera isn’t motion activated and it only starts to record when people are messing with the deadlock or ring the doorbell ...to open with the finger the lock is very responsive ..the keypad sensitivity is bad you have to press pretty hard ...but other than that the lock does give quick notification that lock is being open n closed ..camera is response is pretty good ..overall the lock is almost there maybe the next generation will have improvements but it is a good lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well it looks like I have a main door lock that has all the features that I can think of!! Smart touchscreen keypad, app notification with live video and 2 way notification, video recording on door access, smart speaker control/home automation capability, offline access keys, fingerprint reader, and good old physical key access! Still hard to believe that this is made possible in a single elegant product that was easily install-able in the old style deadbolt.
Setup/Installation: The manual/guide was very easy to follow. The only hardware tool that I had to use to replace and install this product was a screwdriver. There are some key steps to follow during the installation so highly recommended to follow according to the manual, although it is tempting to just go at it based on the product design and intuition.
Usage: The non standard (PIN Genie touchscreen) keypad might seem a bit complicated at first, but I and my guests got used to it within first couple of attempts. It is definitely more secure than the normal keypad. The finger print access for frequent users provides the ultimate ease of use. The app notification and audio/videa quality is amazing as well and the door lock/unlock response time via the app is pretty real time.
Additional features: The product comes with a wifi hub to connect the lock to the web and enable control via app. I have android OS and the setup was very quick. The app allowed me to choose/update default settings...like auto-lock feature, notification settings, etc.
Overall I am very please with the lock. With all the added features, it is also an elegant product that modernizes the way to the home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to replace the current lock with a smart lock!
