Great Smart Lock, Technology-based, Easy Install

This Vision Smart lock has almost everything one would want in a smart lock. It is easy to install - took me only 15 minutes from start to finish to replace the standard deadbolt that was in the door. It took me less than 5 minutes to interface it with our Wi-Fi system. All in all the installation is very intuitive. The security of the lock seems to be trend setting with its changing finger pad. It looks great and has a sturdy feel to the parts. The only cons I could find are that it does not sense the presence of a person at the lock and send an alert or start the video automatically, and the PC portal does not currently support video as the iPhone application does.

This is an add on deadbolt so had the hole professionally drilled along with security kick plate. Setup was easy and app works well…no connectivity issues. Mechanically, the lock seems solid so far. However, the video is grainy and not as clear as the ads make it out to be…even in HD mode. The microphone is hard to hear someone talking outside and listening to the app.

You can only have one person receive all notifications. If you're single great! But if you are at work and your spouse is home she will never know anyone is at the door. Locklys fix, log her device with main account. Then that's when problems arise. Folks hit the door bell and wait while we might get notified 1,2 up to 5 minutes later. I have two they are great and would have 5 stars otherwise

Works as advertised

We bought our Lockly-Lockly Vision about 4 weeks ago. The reason for our purchase was because I was having a joint replacement and wouldn’t be quick to answer the door when my physical therapist came to the house. When the doorbell rings, I can see who is at the door, communicate with them and open the door. We are very pleased with the purchase.
One word of encouragement about installation. By reading the instructions we threw up our hands and said we can’t do this. Not true! By following the Lockly video it was a great “do it yourself “ project.

Amazing technology a must have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant at first getting this product as to how hard it was going to be to install but to my surprise it was pretty quick and easy with a step-by-step guide. The security features are fantastic and I love how I can change the code to a specific person. I have a teenage daughter that now can get into the house without her key has been forgotten many times! I also enjoy the feature of being able to see who is at my door and was going on at my house but I'm not available. If you were thinking of trying one of these products out do not hesitate you will love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It only took me 20 minutes to get this installed and working with all the features I wanted! The ability to use your fingerprint to unlock the door is my favorite feature as I often have my hands full of grocery sacks but a free finger to scan to gain access. If I know my finger won’t be free it’s 100% okay because I can unlock the door from the car so before grabbing my groceries as well! Also the kids live to run in ahead of us so this works out great! I also love the automatic lock feature so I don’t have to worry if I locked the house or not. I love that this integrates with Amazon Alexa as well so I can voice control unlock/lock the door. Definitely worth it and better then other locks I’ve tried!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock is really cool! Unlocks with keys, numeric code, fingerprint, or Alexa!! Super awesome tech. Install was also easy to follow with step by step video instructions. Downloading the app and connecting was a little more involved and less intuitive, but after a few minutes I was up and running. Plus it looks really high end!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was having some problems with installing it as one part of the instructions weren’t clear. But once o got past that it was fine. This is an amazing lock. I can lock and unlock with my phone. I can use my code or fingerprint. The camera is nice. I will say about the camera though I have a screen door so if it’s closed you can’t really see anything. So hopefully whoever rings the bell also holds the screen door open. The other nice thing is that there are little plaques they give you that tell people the door bell is on the lock. That’s nice because otherwise is doesn’t look like you have a doorbell.
