Absolutely amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this door lock has been very thought out. The number pad changes sequence each time so someone cannot track where you press. How safe is that! It can also store up to 99 fingerprints to make getting in your home easier. My favorite is Alexa (or google)! I have alexa auto, so as can tell it to unlock my home as I am driving up, so my door is ready to open when I walk up. With 2 toddlers and always full hands, this is my favorite feature. Yiu can also remotely give key passes. Need a neighbor to check on the dogs, give them a 1 time code. Repairman, same deal, give 1 time code. This has been very thought out, and perfect for the modern home. I recommend this very much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. Combines a smart video doorbell with a secure smart lock. Easy to install, long lasting battery life and user friendly app. The camera takes and records video with motion, allows for 2 way audio and notifies you of motion. The smart lock is great. Can be used on right or left hinge doors, secure and quick to use and unlock your door, can give one time codes to visitors or use codes for a period of time (if on vacation for 6 days with a house/pet sitter, can set a code to work for only 6 days). I’ll never own another door lock, this is the best one out there.

Nice lock - features could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great smart lock. I love the touch screen and the finger print capability to unlock. The automatic re-locking mechanism is nice, but sometimes annoying. The doorbell feature is nice with some drawbacks. The camera has potential, but is a definite sore spot on the whole smart lock experience. To start - physical installation was a breeze. The instructions are incredibly clear and well planned out. Made it simple to follow - nothing was left out and clear directions were provided. The installation of the lock and the app capability was a bit troublesome. Initially, the Vision was not showing up on the app prompting me to email their customer support. Their support was awesome - responding within 24 hours and providing recommendations. After following the representatives instructions, the lock installed perfectly on the app. The physical use of the lock is great. It is simple to add codes (it is nice being able to add multiple codes for different people - allows to to keep track of who is coming and going). I love the finger print capability. Again, being able to add multiple people is handy. I think my biggest complaint about the lock is the self re-locking ability. My front door requires you to push it a little bit to engage the deadbolt (an issue on my end, not the locks). But because it requires you to push to engage, the auto re-locking has issues and does not work. What is great is that this feature can be turned off via the app. Most features can be controlled and adjusted via the app, which is fantastic. The doorbell feature is nice - the ring is clear and can be heard from around my house without being overbearing. The interface with the app is a little lacking. I encounter a delay with the notification that someone is at the door - making it a little awkward when I don't show up at the door when it rings. The camera feature is nice but has some deficiencies. The video is clear and sharp - ability to record is nice. The audio feature is lacking. It is incredibly hard to hear anyone outside, and it is hard for anyone to hear me from the inside. I think with some improvements, this lock would get 5 stars. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smart lock with nice features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this lock in about 2 hours. I did not download the app to install as it came with printed directions for installation that were more than acceptable. The only thing that I had an issue with during the installation was the final adjustment of the deadbolt to make sure that it moved freely. I installed the lock in the deadbolt hole and there seemed to be this odd clicking noise before I put the batteries in and it did not seem to have a smooth feeling when using the handle for the deadbolt. I decided to put the batteries in and the lock must have done some self calibration and bam it moved freely and easily into the deadbolt hole. I also like the door sensor capability. It is optional to install the sensor but you loose some of the locks functionality like being able to tell if the door is actually open or closed if you do not install it. I just dremmeled out a little channel in my woodwork to nest out a pocket for the door sensor switch. You will need to download the app to get access to all the features and set up the lock. You can view the videos that the lock has taken through the app and set up your preferences. I have not found a feature for motion sensing to start taking the video, but it automatically takes video is someone rings the doorbell or tries to access the key hole. The fingerprint reader is nice when I go for walks around town as I no longer need to take keys with me on my way out and it will automatically lock behind me. When the lock arrived in the mail it was in a heavy box and everything was packaged very well with absolutely no damage. If you have a screen door ensure that the lock side facing the screen door has clearance with the door handle or you may damage the lock when all the doors are closed. I am very pleased with this lock.

A deadbolt that does it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is probably the most advanced deadbolt lock you can by. The Lockly Vision lock gives you a very handsome deadbolt lock with a built-in video (which can be viewed on your phone AND you can locally store videos on a micro-SD card), it has an advanced PIN code UI that shuffles numbers so people can spy your finger placement - and my favorite, it has a fingerprint detector to unlock the door just using your fingerprint. The installation of the lock is simple enough for any handyman, and the setup of the electronics & internet is easy enough if you have some tech abilities. Not hard - just requires some Internet know-how and the ability to follow directions.

High end doorbell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind this doorbell is it can be handled though the Lockly app that you download to your smartphone. You can then control all functions of the doorbell via the app. This works great when you forgot to lock your door when you go to bed, leave the house, etc or when you need to remotely unlock it. All you do is go to the app and tap the unlock button. You can also unlock it by a pin number that is set up within the app, by the fingerprint touch ID on the side of the lock, or using one of the two provided keys.
The doorbell and lock itself was easy to install on the door. The lock requires 8 AA batteries and are included in the packaged. The doorbell is defaulted to lock by itself after 3 minutes. This setting can be adjusted within the app. There is also a router type device referred to as a hub. The app was easy to install but I had issues trying to register the device within the app as there was not an option for Lockly Vision Deadbolt edition so, initially, I was able to get the locking features but not the video. There is a workaround to this so if you have any issues definitely contact customer support if you have any issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew about doorbell cameras and passcode deadbolts, but before this I didn't even know they made it all in one. For me, this is nice if I need to have my neighbor or someone get into my house without me being there.. which really isn't that often. I can imagine this would be super handy for someone who frequently needs to allow people in like for air bnb. The only thing I can think of that's not super intuitive is that many people won't think to look at the lock for a doorbell.. might need a sign or something. Overall a good product with lots of functionality and pretty simple installation.
