[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dealt with electronic locks in the past, but this smart lock is by far the best! Installation was a breeze. If I remember correctly, it was only about 6 screws to do the install. Setup was also very simple. I think the best feature for our family with teens is the log history for lock access. We are able to look at the logs and see when they've accessed the lock. It also has a lot of security features that are great. If using an access code, you won't be able to use muscle memory as you would with other locks to keep people from identifying your button patterns. The one thing I found that I was very surprised about, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, was the weight of the lock. It weighs quite a bit! We installed this on a mainly steel door. Make sure to have a solid door for installation! I would highly recommend this lock!

After figuring out the minor setback I was doing installation was a breeze. The lock works great. I like having multiple ways of opening. Work recommend.

All-in-one smart lock solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is rare to find a company that takes my personal protection and security as seriously as I do. Lockly can claim me as a fan. What an impressive product! This lock goes above and beyond, creating an all in one solution for front door management. This is a smart lock unlike any I've ever interacted with. Rather than housing the doorbell and lock separately, they are integrated into a single unit with a corresponding deadbolt.
This smart lock has all the bells and whistles. It includes multiple access methods: a fingerprint scanner with storage capacity for multiple prints (and a claim that the advanced sensor is difficult to trick), access codes (both permanent and temporary), a phone app, Alexa/Google Assistant, and the good ol' trusted manual lock in case of emergency.
The coolest feature is the keypad. When inputting access codes, the numbers are randomized on the screen. While the code remains unchanged, the appearance to an onlooker shifts making it difficult for someone to replicate.
I enjoy that I have access to footage via cloud storage or built in storage.
This is a step up from my previous setup, a traditional door lock paired with a video doorbell. Where my doorbell could be evaded, this catches everyone who approaches the door in high quality images. It also provides a tamper alert. Additionally, the video is live in real time. My old doorbell provided somewhat grainy images and rarely alerted me in a timely manner because of connectivity issues. In my book, an alert that comes in five minutes late is as good as never. You can also speak through the lock, enabling two way communication at your front door whether or not you're home.
The only drawback is that because it is a product that most haven't interacted with yet, visitors did not immediately know how to ring the bell.
To be honest, when it comes to home security I have more faith in experts than myself. I hired a locksmith to install the smart lock. Not only did he say it was a straightforward installation, he said the product in its entirety is a cut above the rest and that he was adding it to his wishlist. As far as I'm concerned, that was the best endorsement.
Overall, the entire experience is user friendly. The lock itself and the app. I could not be happier. Highly recommend!

So many features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I couldn’t imagine having any other features in a smart lock. They literary thought of everything with this one. I love the look of it and ease of using with so many different options. Install looks a bit complicated but it’s really not.

Clean Looking and Full of Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With so many smart locks and doorbell cameras on the market, it gets a little confusing. Especially when you have both fighting for your wifi. When I saw the chance to combine them, jumped right on it.
Install took about an hour. Overall, there were no major issues. I was able to utilize the existing deadbolt and simply swap out the old lock and replace it with the Lockly. I then spent the next hour trying to understand how the whole thing works and what all the settings do. For the most part, everything seems pretty intuitive. I will say, I was initially confused about how to get the number combos to appear. No where in the quick start or the handle paper does it says to swipe down with your entire hand. After reading through the longer user manual, I was able to find that information.
Now that it is up and running, the large included storage capacity is great, the variety of notification options is fantastic, and the overall speed so far is great. My only hope for future updates is to add a quick screen capture in the notifications so that I don't need to open the app to see who is there.

A great innovative smart solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first saw this product at a friend’s home. We have since utilized the different codes for deliveries, visitors and neighbors. My lady loves the finger code that allows you to just touch. I haven’t downloaded the app yet but apparently there’s video as well. There’s a backup key that’s manual and the installation was simple.

It's a solid good quality, easy to install lock. It took 30-45 minutes and setting up was a breeze. I love the different ways you can lock and unlock your

Easy Install - Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm the kind of person who hates to put holes in things that don't need to be there. I really appreciate that this deadbolt doesn't require additional holes in my front door. It has adhesive stickers on the top of both the inside and outside to help the hardware to stay in place during use. If you already have a deadbolt hole in your door, I would say a typical homeowner could install without the need to hire a professional.
Maybe I watch too many crime shows, but I really like the "peek proof" technology that Lockly uses. The rotating number mean you won't type in the same pattern every time. Granted it takes more though and more time to gain access, but it will trick the person who's peering in from around the corner.
If you're internet goes down or power goes off, Lockly has included a physical key and offline access code so you still have access. However some of the functionality won't be available if the unit doesn't have power.
This is a great product and takes the place of having to have both a smart lock and video door bell by combining both in one. Yes it's expensive, but not too bad when you consider what it would cost to buy both separately.
