Optic has held up well after hard use. Only complaint is that the company stated it mounted to a acro footprint which it did not in my case. I had to order a mps specific mount.

Great, clear and crisp RDS. Running it on a Staccato P. Battery life for continuous on is about 3 months.

Better Than the ACRO P-2

Great sights for pistols or top mounted on rifle scopes. More durable than the ACRO P-2 in my experience.
Steiner, please offer us the FDE version on Expert Voice.

Outstanding product

I started using this optic with a glock 19x that I got milled specifically for the mps. I immediately started running them very rough and put 2k rounds through the optic. It held up to all the abuse and preformed flawlessly, I ended up getting another to mount on top of a magnified optic. I highly recommend this product.

Great Optic with One Flaw
on December 18, 2023

I used my Steiner MPS on my Glock 17 with the C&H Precision adapter plate. Putting 200-300 rounds through the gun with the MPS was great, glass quality is crisp and the dot optic functioned flawlessly.
Where I ran into issues was with the retention screw that is the sole screw that holds the retention plate onto the mount. After a couple hundred rounds the screw did fail (sheared off) and the optic flew off my firearm.
My recommendation is to get the upgraded mounting screw and bracket if you plan on using this setup for duty or other heavy use. Otherwise this is a great alternative to the Aimpoint Acro for a couple hundred bucks less.

Great sight for the cost

I put this sight up against the aim point acro and the leupold DeltaPoint it not only held its own, but was better in my opinion than both others. The enclosed emitter made it more functional in daylight than the leupold, and I found the illumination of the dot better here than on the acro.
