I chose this optic, over the popular Acro, for my FN 509 MRD-LE Comp. So far, great great choice and I'm glad I did. The optic is rugged, but looks incredible. The glass is beautiful, very very clear, and has a wider view than the Acro. Zero distortion of the dot, incredibly bright when needed, and a good lower setting as well. The buttons are probably my only, but very small complaint, as they require a strong press to change the brightness levels. Nice, audible clicks when zeroing, making it easy to zero. Close to 1000 rounds later, still holding zero. Highly recommend this optic for duty use.

Great optic

I was looking for a very strong and robust optic for hard use outdoors. So far the Steiner has been great. It is far easier to keep clean than open emitter optics. The buttons are easy to learn. Mounting was a breeze. This would be a great optic for a pistol, rifle, or shotgun. This would serve a beginner shooter all the way to the most advanced.

MPS or ACRO

I have both the aimpoint acro and this. The acro sits atop the LPVO on my rifle and the MPS on my duty pistol. As far as durability goes I'd give it to the acro. The MPS has better visibility as it is in a thinner box and no color distortion that I can see, and it also feels like a wider field of view, not sure how that's just my impression. Acro wins in battery life too but if the MPS lasts as advertised you'd change it once every 1-2 years and be fine. I doubt that'll break the bank.

I’ve been running this Dot on a Beretta A300 Ultima patrol for a bit over a year now and it has stood up to all the recoil in the world from Birdshot,Buckshot and every slug I could find , it’s tough as nails, and the glass still maintains its clarity, this item is great for beginners with ease of use but is maximized when put in the hands of an expert!!!!! Get one!!!

I have 3 oof these now. It is the best pistol optic hands down. Can't beat the quality for the price. The CS is amazing. I broke one and they replaced it with no questions.

Absolutely the best red dot on the market. Heavy use on a tac team and it gets beat but works flawlessly. Super clear glass and pin point dot. More guys are buying these then aimpoint and Holosun where I’m at

Owned once since it was available

I’ve been using my original one not purchased through expert voice since they were available. It’s on my edc. It’s been through a few classes as well. Probably north of 10k rounds through that pistol with this optic. Only thing that was an issue was the battery cap. They sent an updated version when I had to get the original one off. I have 2 other brands of optics both higher end Trijicon and Aimpoint. The Steiner is more eye appealing than the others. The Steiner could benefit from longer battery life but I change mine out often in anything I use consistently.

zeros even after multiple chest height drop tests. glass is clear and buttons are easy to use. the only thing i wish it had is shake awake. having to push the button is an annoyance but i can get over that for all the other amazing features it has like the reticle, glass quality and durability.
