Great Pistol Dot

Over 1 year and about 2k rounds sitting on top of my Stacatto P. Only issue I has was the cross bolt break on mine. Had to send it back to Steiner for repair. Other wise it has been rock solid. Only con is the batter life is about 6-8 months if I leave it on all the time at the mid level brightness.

Attachment screw broke pretty quick.

Love the sight picture, much better than my RMR. Light transmission and clarity are excellent, brightness is great.
Cons: attachment screw broke pretty quickly, not the only guy in my dept who had that happen. Battery compartment is tighter than nuts on a ferris wheel, no way to replace battery without tearing up the metal. Probably going to have to order a replacement cap eventually when it gets too worn.

I was fascinated with the MPS since it's debut due to being one of the top tier of two available closed emitter pistol red dot optics available at its time of release. The MPS has a nice large window with clearer glass which I benefitted during target acquisition. The dot is sharp and does not flare as bad as other options. I cannot say this is better than other options but I will say you will not be disappointed with the MPS. I have beaten this optic at the range over the year and never lost zero. Battery life has been surprising as well since it has well over 250 range days with battery constantly on. My only critique would be to incorporate "shake wake" which has been an industry standard option for duty use.

Better than RMR

Going from an RMR to this is night and day. Large clear viewing window. Tactile brightness settings. Time will tell in durability but it’s been solid through 1000 rounds.

My favorite optic for everything except battery life.

It’s sharp, durable, has a low deck height, and looks good! However, it chews through batteries 3 times faster than the competition. I will take that trade off for now!

Best EDC enclosed optic

If you want to EDC and enclosed optic this one ranks at the top. Great window size and clear glass. Its not the most durable option out there, but for a gun on your body and under your clothes every day its perfect. Not too bulky compared to other enclosed optics.

I installed this optic on my G19, and the window quality stands out compared to the competition. The clarity and field of view are impressive. However, the battery life could be improved as it doesn’t last as long as I'd like. On the plus side, the lockout feature, adjustment settings, and brightness levels are all excellent. The controls are intuitive, making it easy to customize the optic for different environments. Overall, a solid choice, but the battery longevity could use some attention.
