Sturdy. Enclosed emitter. Good battery life. Excellent price. Overall best enclosed emitter optic at this price point.
Only downside is mounting plates put the optic rather high and necessitate extremely tall back up sights.

This is my go to for closed emitter handgun optics. After seeing multiple other companies miss the mark, I decided to try Steiner and I’m glad I did! The MPS mounts using the same footprint as the ACRO. It came with all the tools needed to install and adjust the optic. The buttons are easy to use but not in the way. Compatible with all of my Safariland duty holsters on my Glock 47. Nice large window and a crisp, clear dot.

Danger close to being the best optic available. There’s not one single negative that I can come up with for having a fully enclosed emitter. Kudos to Steiner for using an industry standard mounting system. The glass is crystal clear and the dot is one of the most precise I’ve ever seen. It’s Achilles heel however lies in its underwhelming battery life and lack of an auto dimming / brightening function . 13,000 hours looks like a lot in a set of specs but it’s null in comparison to its counterpart (Acro P2). If Steiner addresses these 2 problems in a second iteration it will have the enclosed emitter optic market in a chokehold. Another small inconvenience which is mostly a preference is the packaging it comes in. An optic of this quality/price deserves a more rigid case.

I tried several different brands with similar designs but so far this is my favorite. It hold the dot well even I dropped the gun accidentally. The only issue I have is the base plate, I have to buy a third party plate for my VP9L otherwise everything is perfect.

My Steiner MPS lives on a Reptilia mount atop a Henry .357 I built up. The sight is well suited for use on this carbine and the reticle is very visible, even out here in the sunny Arizona desert. Will pick up another one of these for offset use. This sight is great for all types of users.

Solid enclosure, crisp dot, great controls. Not much to say but this is a great red dot from Steiner. To me it has a bigger window than an acro. I liked it so much that I bought two and will probably get a couple more.
