This remote works perfectly with all Samsung TVs. Right out of the box, it is already programmed and pairs with your TV. It has all the buttons you need, just put the batteries in!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using this remote. I love that it has all the different buttons for things like sleep, pause, and play, which I use frequently. These allow me to save time while operating my TV, and I have no overall problems with the remote.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the remote to control my tv and otherbcomponets I have. I really enjoy the remote thank you samsung.
Bought this as a replacement. A lot of the buttons don’t work most of the time, like the down button and the lower volume button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi C14u2nv,
We appreciate your feedback on the issues you’re having with your remote control. Please try the below troubleshooting steps.
First, check if the remote is sending an IR signal. If it is sending an IR signal, you will see a red colored light coming from the remote control. If you are not seeing a red light, try and changing out the batteries.
Next, please ensure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled on your TV. With Anynet+, you can control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC).
If your cable box does not support HDMI-CEC, you will not be able to use Anynet+. You may want to contact your cable company to see if an upgraded box is available. If an upgraded box is not available, you will simply need to enable the Universal Remote feature on your TV’s remote with these set-up steps: (See: ‘Set up universal remote’)
I hope this helps. For further assistance, please call Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.
