Bought this as a replacement. A lot of the buttons don’t work most of the time, like the down button and the lower volume button.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Universal Remote Backlit Feature?

Have been trying to determine if the universal remote has a backlit feature for dark viewing areas. Chat bot didn't know what I was talking about. We have 7 Samsung tvs in our home. Would be great to get a definitive answer. Thank you

This remote works perfectly with all Samsung TVs. Right out of the box, it is already programmed and pairs with your TV. It has all the buttons you need, just put the batteries in!

I use it to not only watch TV but I also go onto the internet with it straight onto my TV. I stream videos on you tube I go onto my Netflix and Hulu accounts and watch movies too! All from this one remote i dont have to have 3 different ones to do all the stuff i want/need it to do that's the big seller for me is that I can do everything and I mean everything all from this one remote! Absolutely love it! Would never change remotes. #my#1pick, #allinoneremote, #samsungfavs ;)

Universal Remote is Universal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This remote is amazing. It works with every single TV in my house, and even works with game consoles! Even after six years, not a single one of these remotes out of 3 of them have ever broke. The buttons are very responsive, and speaking of buttons this thing has TONS OF THEM there are so many buttons that I don't even know what to do with most of them. And the volume/channel switch lasts for ever without ever breaking or getting sticky. Take that new samsung remotes! And not a single decal on the remote buttons have rubbed off unlike every other of the new remotes i have.
