i purchased this a few months ago and the product does exactly what it says it will do. I have cats and at times my daughter sneaks smoking in her bedroom. I purchased this to clean the air for those reasons. I am really happy with any product from Filtrete and I am here to say this really does work. Not only does it work on odors but a great filter for all household odors.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As long as 3M has been around, how can you NOT trust them to make a decent product, even if it is just a filter, after all the years that they have been around. And, you know what? They get better at it because they work at it!

Great for allergy suffers

Charcoal power

I bought it few months ago just because it looked different from all-white filters on the shelf. It is black, and I am assuming that is because of charcoal. It works great, no strange odors spreading through out the house. I wish the price would be a little cheaper.
