Beaters are awful

This is the only B&D product I’ve not been happy with. The beaters are difficult to insert (the slots are not easy to see). The plastic beaters are odd shaped, so foods like potatoes fly all over and stay lumpy instead of getting smooth. The mixer itself is fine for weight and power. If I can’t get metal replacement beaters I will buy another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

too frustrating

I was so excited to get this, and I love the feel of the mixer and that you just push the button to increase the speed. I am not a fan of digital mixers. However, the frustration of trying to get the beaters inserted every time, has caused me to say I hate this. I got them in just once and they worked great, but every time after they won't go in. I don't know if its me, or what but I bake for fun, and not frustration so will be giving this away and very sorry to say so.. I do love the feel of it in my hand.

Highly Efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mixer packs a punch! It is such a sleek and modern design that I am in love with it. It comes with its own 'storage' so you will not lose a single piece. My other brand did not have that and I always could not find the beaters anywhere. So this is handy when you are in a rush to whip up a quick recipe. The beaters are so unique I had never seen any like that and now I am addicted. It really takes the lumps out when I'm mixing ingredients.

Love the beaters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mixer! The beaters are not your typical metal type beaters. They are nylon coated so no more scratching the glass bowls. It has 5 speeds and a turbo boost! Great for making brownies or cakes. The storage container just snaps onto the bottom of the mixer. It is very easy to store and put away until the next time..

Storage Box!

I love the storage box that keeps the three different sets of beaters, cord and the mixer all in one spot. Genius! The mixer works great too with enough power that I don't have to drag my heavy Kitchen Aid out every time. Pleased with purchase.
