[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the features of this hand mixer..It has 2 helix beaters...2 dough hooks and 1 chef whisk..And it's even have a heel and bowl rest..And it's also a diahwasher safe removable parts..I am si impressed with the performance..It make it easier for me to work in the kitchen..It has what I need..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of this mixer and the powerful 250W motor which really gets the mixer going quickly and mixes well. The Helix beaters work together smoothly. This Black and Decker Hand Mixer has the ability to mix whatever the job may be and it's comfortable handle is easy to hold. The parts are also dishwasher safe which makes for quick, easy cleanup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer a few months ago. The reviews said it was an excellent mixer. I've used it a handful of times and am not impressed with it at all. I have to use a larger bowl with this one than I did with any of my previous mixers...it splatters everywhere. I have a hard time getting whatever I'm making off of the beaters. I wish I had gotten a different mixer. I loved my previous Black and Decker mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

major design flaws

Newly purchased mixer is the worst I have ever owned!
1) beaters are SHARP and easily inflict cuts
2) beaters only fit one way and require good eyes and hands to attach
3) beaters cause batter (even things like frosting) to "ride" up against mixer housing
4) mixer will not rest on its base - tips over due to batter stuck inside beaters
5) close to impossible to extract "stuck" batter from beaters - beater design does not facilitate use of a spatula or other utensil for scraping out batter or for cleaning
6) "turbo" button is in poor location - very easy to inadvertently turn on

Love the beaters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of blackanddeckerappliances] I love this mixer! The beaters are not your typical metal type beaters. They are nylon coated so no more scratching the glass bowls. It has 5 speeds and a turbo boost! Great for making brownies or cakes. The storage container just snaps onto the bottom of the mixer. It is very easy to store and put away until the next time..

Disappointed.

Purchased this mixer prior to Christmas because my old B&D died. Today, I threw it in the trash. The eject button is hard to use, the plastic helix beaters throw batter all over the place (even in a deep bowl) & batter tends to crawl up the beater. Plus, the first time I used it, the edges of the black beater were sharp enough to slice my finger. Your engineers need to go back to the drawing board on this model.
