machine does not stop on its own

The machine does not stop on its own eg. it counts down to eight minuted then goes back up to 11 mins and continues to do this on the rinse cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE my front load GE Washer. My clothes are always clean and fresh. I us alot less detergent and fabric softner verses the standard top load washer I had. I use to hate doing laundry, now it's a treat Thanks to GE!!

This Washer is Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Each time we use this washer we are amazed on how clean the clothes come out and how little detergent we have to use. We have owned them for 4 months and we do a fair amount of washing each week and each time with out fail every stain comes even when we don't use the stain wash cycle. One time we used it on some old dirty seat cushions and pillow covers and to our surprise they came out brand new. We did not have to pre-treat them at all. I am so happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this product has so many pre-loaded settings. I also love that switching them is as easy as the click of a button. I've only used it about 3 times... but the results have been consistent each time. Clean laundry... I will say that it was a tad confusing w/ the slow and stop-start in pour of water, but after watching it for a minutes I realized it was just the way the machine works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This front loader replaced a 20 year old top loading model. It cleans clothes, using less water in the process. The cycles take considerably longer (58 minutes for a regular load) and the gasket needs to be wiped dry to prevent odors, but it is quiet. I hope it lasts as long as my previous washer. Two months in, I'm satisfied with my purchase.
