[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who lives far away from my aging parents, the nono essential care kit has provided me with tremendous peace of mind. This compact and discreet kit contains a variety of smart home sensors and devices that allow me to closely monitor my parents' wellbeing, even from a distance.
The fall detection sensors immediately alert me if my parents experience a fall or other emergency, allowing me to respond quickly. The motion and activity sensors track their daily routines, reassuring me that they are moving around and staying active. The smart medication dispenser ensures they are taking their prescriptions on time. And the communication hub lets me check in with them easily through video calls.
Altogether, this care kit has given me the confidence that my parents are safe and cared for, even when I can't be there physically. It's an invaluable tool that has reduced my worries and allowed me to focus on enjoying our time together during visits, rather than constantly wondering if they're okay. I highly recommend the nono essential care kit for any long-distance caregivers looking to provide their loved ones with an extra layer of support and security.

This is a great solution for allowing those who need care to live more independently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a product that is long overdue. This system allows you to monitor someone who needs help without being intrusive. It also helps them feel a sense of independence, since they know they can go about their day but if something goes wrong, someone will be coming to help.
Setup was easy after registering the account. The registration was not smooth, but I think mine was an isolated situation. It has to be done through the app and requires them to text a code to your phone, which is normal, but according to their customer support, the SMS system was down for several days.
The app walks you through the setup and offers some suggestions for different ways you can monitor activity. Once set up, you need to set up a subscription, which is a minimal charge per month. I inadvertently tested the system twice, once by seeing how hard it is to press the panic button (not hard, fyi), and once when I picked up the hub by the top to move it around the table. It has a button on top, also not hard to press.
The first time I did that, I had not even set up a subscription yet but it still called the contact to let them know a panic button had been pressed and offered to connect you, which we did. Talking through the hub is loud and clear, seems to be a high quality speaker in there.
I've monitored my friend for a few days now and it is nice to check in to see what sensors have triggered just to be sure, but I know I will be alerted if anything goes wrong. This is a great product for helping people who need a little more care to live more independently.

Great monitoring device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation of the essential care kit was very easy. It came with wonderful instructions and it seems like a very durable product. It seems like a great value for what all it does. It monitors movement and has a lanyard button as well, the service is reasonable per month for the security you get from the performance of this monitoring device. It was easy to use with the app. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type of device.

The Nomo Smart Care Kit is designed to support independent living, crafted by caregivers to alleviate anxieties and foster quality time together. Prioritizing simplicity and efficiency, it includes essential tools for daily tasks, health monitoring, and reminders, seamlessly integrating into routines while ensuring safety and comfort. Privacy and security are key, with safeguards to protect personal data. The small, gray device with a blue flashing button is easy to set up through a simple three-step process using the Nomo app. In my experience, the device proved invaluable for monitoring my pets and my elderly father, who has diabetes. It was particularly helpful in reminding him to take his medication and providing heart rate alerts, which kept us all aware and reassured of his well-being. Overall, the kit excels in combining advanced technology with compassionate caregiving, making it an ideal choice for enhancing independent living with peace, privacy, and practicality. I recommend this product to working busy families. I rated this four star due to the requirement of a monthly subscription in order to use the device, which I believe would be better if we had a free trial or a promotion to first see how the device helps and works in our home. Although there wasn’t a free trial offer, the device was very versatile and easy to use and overall a great deal.

Easy installation and set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great if you have an older family member or friend that you want to make sure stays safe when you are not around. It was easy to install and understand. We already have most of these features installed in my mothers house using a different system connected to her house alarm. However, this is a better route to go if you don't want to have an alarm system installed. I do wish there were more alert buttons.

Great tool for more independence and safety

I do suggest reading all the instructions first and lay out all your pieces so you know as you're reading through the instructions what you need to do but overall it was very easy to get set up. I really like the idea of this product because it eases my mind and it allows my mom to stay in her own home. It's a very great system for being able to put your mind at ease when you worry. My mom does have some health issues and so this is really a great way to make sure she's getting the care she needs and is always safe. She really likes it as well because it gives her more freedom without worry.
