A great way to keep watch on your loved ones without sacrificing their privacy and independence.

This is a fantastic solution to allow me to make sure that she's okay without constantly checking in. She doesn't feel like she has a babysitter, and I'm able to make sure that she's up and about and following her usual routine.

Perfect for Monitoring Active Adult

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nomo Essential Care Kit is perfect for monitoring active adults, such as your mom or dad living alone at their home. It provides you peace of mind, knowing that they are successfully doing their daily routine and are not in danger. I love that it has a fallen help button and a location app all in one. The main negative thing I can say is there is a somewhat pricey monthly cost for the subscription. The care kit is already expensive itself and then to add the monthly subscription cost on top of it makes it very pricey.

Very useful product

I wasn’t sure what to expect because I initially thought it was meant more for elderly individuals or those with medical needs but it’s great for when you have children as welll. It was really easy to set up and it’s made of quality materials and appears to be very durable. The video quality is great and there is bonus night vision for those times that it’s late at night and not so easy to see what might be going on. Motion detection can also be great to see if someone isn’t where they should be. This has been really helpful to use to make sure my kids are doing what they need to do and also that they are safe. There are multiple uses for this device and I will continue to explore different ways of making the best use of it.

Make sure the sensors are well spaced out.

The motion detection is a little sensitive, but that isn’t necessary a bad thing. Picks up movement well. Great product for those who live alone. 4 motion sensors, which you want to make sure are well spaced. Also has portable call button for emergencies.

Extremely helpful

I would describe it as a video (baby) monitor, a help I have fallen button, and a location app all in one. I installed it at my moms house and even though she won’t allow photos, it is allowing me to have peace of mind and her to do her daily routine.

Wish it had a visual monitoring system with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was not really all of what I've expected. I assumed that it was a camera along with the motion sensors. The installation was easy and took no time. The seniors are amazing. When a person goes near any of them, it sends a notification right away. The material that is made out of is pretty sturdy and not that thin plastic feel that some electronics have. Overall, a good product. Just wish I could be a little more visual with the monitoring.

Good device/setup for some elderly but not all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: very easy to set up, comes with multiple sensors including one for loved one to wear if needed. I like the ability to talk via main hub. Subscription gives option for monthly or annually pay. Ability to have myself, my spouse and my SIL all have access to app as we are main caretakers.
Cons: If you or loved one on extremely fixed income (like many senior citizens), another monthly/annual fee is rough. This monitoring system did not work for my elderly MIL as she was in beginning stages of dementia and became extremely paranoid with it once she started to progress to sundowning.
Overall, I think Nomo is extremely useful for those that don’t always live close to loved ones or those that need an extra hand making sure their parents are sleeping at night/getting up and doing their routines during day. It actually helped us realize our loved one shouldn’t be living alone anymore and needs more care than we previously realized.
This will not work for elderly loved ones at any kind of stage of memory loss or in need of memory care.
