Solid and well balance belt sander

i bought this over a year ago. As a belt sander for a finish carpenter its perfect. It is a well balanced sander that is balanced enough for 1 handed sanding to sneak up to scribe lines, but the dust port is effective enough with the bag, but better yet, with the included adapter fits standard dust extractors, working really well. power is amazing too!

Belt sanding made easier

This is my third belt sander and i am impressed! Multi speeds like others and a locking speed/ throttle switch. Very easy to remove the sand paper and a large easy knob to dial in the sandpaper roller pitch to control the 3x21 inch snadpaper position on the main roller head.
Dust wise i tested it with the bag and a shop vac and both collect the dust really well, with the vacuum winning as expected.
Good control on the highest speed and i can use it with one hand with no wanting it to run away. I cut down my sub flooring un-even joints with ease on my wrists.
No cords! Massive win and its not loud on the ears.

GREAT CORDLESS BELT SANDER!!!

I bought this tool a few months ago and I’m glad I did! Renovating my house and this handy belt sander has been a lifesaver. Before I was using an orbital sander that would take forever and go through numerous sanding pads. This new sander is faster, still on the same belt that it came with, and has the added benefit of running on either battery or the corded adapter which by the way I also have. Of all the cordless Metabo HPT tools I have which are the hammer drill, impact, three nailers, top and rear handles saws, recip saw, heat gun, the corded 12 inch sliding miter saw (second favorite), might be forgetting something else…the 36v belt sander is my favorite Metabo HPT tool that I own! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Been using this belt sander for several years now ,it’s been the best sander I ever used , have had many different brands all corded ,but not having a cord in the way is priceless

One of best belt sanders I ever used

I had been waiting for this tool for a long time. I was hoping it would be included in a Metabo HPT kit as some point. I like that all my existing sandpaper fits perfect and this does not strain my hand. balance is really good with the 4.0 battery. Like all sanders, let the tool do the work without forcing the tool on the work item. 4.0 battey lasted about 30 mins, i can use the 8.0 and go almost full hour. Great tool and i wish i would have got it earlier.
