Battery issues

New batteries in machine and immediately indicated low battery. Not worth sending in for repair.

Brother blew it with this product.

Can't print with out the low battery display comming on and it stops printing.

No good

Received as a Christmas gift. Right out of the box, with new batteries... "low battery" indicator. Soon it stopped working in mid label, so I wasted labels. Installed new batteries AGAIN... same problem. Poor quality control. It's going back to Walmart (hope it's not too late for a return).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Displays low battery with brand new batteries

Purchased less than a month ago. I have used it 3 times and have problems each time. When I first opened it to use it I put 4 brand new batteries in it and it kept displaying "low battery" and shutting off mid print. Second time I put 4 more, new batteries (same brand of batteries as the first time) again, "low battery". I took all 8 batteries and put them onto my battery tester - all 8 full (as they should be because they're brand new). Third time trying was tonight. I put 4 more BRAND NEW batteries, fresh out of the package into the label maker, these batteries of a different brand and what do you know...."low battery". I will be going home and looking to see if I still have the packaging and this will be going right back to the store. This is the SECOND label maker i have owned, both from 'Brother' and BOTH have had this EXACT same issue. I officially refuse to purchase another 'Brother' product.

This thing is THE WORST

I want to love this label maker, and it has great features, but I get a low battery warning after printing ONE LABEL on brand new, fresh batteries! Their faq page only has instructions for making sure the batteries are in right (they are) and the serial number showed Out of Warranty the first time I checked it, so it's just wasted money. I expected better of Brother, but they've really disappointed me.

OK, Printer for the price

Good labeler for the price battery quality is terrible brand new batteries out of the package already says low battery

I love my Brother PT-45M portable labeling device. IT goes with me everywhere and its compact so you can take with you in a lunch bag.. Try IT. You will love the PT-45M.

First use of Brother PT-45M

I recently purchased the Brother PT-45M. I have used other labeling devices,and I am particularly impressed by the versatility of the PT-45M. I am still discovering capabilities that I had not expected. I regret not having one long ago. I am redoing many of the labels that were previously done by other devices.
I would recommend this to a friend!
