Brand New - Low Batteries warning

This thing is garbage. If you look at the reviews, we are all having the same problem and the company does nothing. I put in 4 brand new Ray O Vac batteries and it says low batteries - replace. Bought Duracell and Energizer and got same display. No AC adapter. This thing is just an expensive paperweight.

DON'T BUY

Same problem as every one else. Brand new batteries & barely use get low battery. Plus ONLY uses batteries.....no power cord. How do you sell something with not even option of power cord? Igot rid of so stuck with this piece of sh**. So much for brother's reputation. Have no problems with my all in one so that's why went with brother. Guess can't always believe that.

produces good labels in many fonts.
I made 10 labels with NEW batteries and it displayed "batteries weak"
NO provision for a wall plug adaptor.

Basic label maker works fine but black lettering

Purchased this not realizing it only does black text and also limited tape colors compared to the TZ whatsis. I absolutely need stuff like white on black and white on red, etc. from one of these. If you can live with the pretty limited tape options it works fine. Small and handy no issues with function. Would give it a 5 star if it did all that I need. Am bummed about having to dump this and spend alot more money.

I've had this for months now using to keep my 4 boys organized. I have an no issues. When loading a new cassette and printing the tape started to crinkle but that was complete user error and I took it out and re-inserted and it's perfect again. I have had no battery issues, no tape cutter issues, it's perfect for everything I needed it for. Highly recommend.

I am honestly shocked to see the battery issues numerous reviewers have had. I've only experienced battery consumption problems if I forget to power it off. Purchased mine over 5 years ago to use in my classroom, and since, it has been packed and relocated several times and continues to work flawlessly.
I only landed here to research which models, other than the PT-45, uses the M-tape cartridges, but felt I needed to share the positives of this basic little device.

This label maker is far better than the Dymo I previously purchased. The ONLY drawback is it is extremely hard to Peel the backing off the label, and the thing that's built-in to the printer does NOT work!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful Labelmaker...but difficult to understand

We really do like our new Brother Labelmaker PT-45M.....however, we find many of the features difficult to use and understand. We had our old labelmaker (PT-65) for so many years and were very used to it.....it was very simple to use and understand.
