What is this tablet suppose to do??

i have had this tablet for about 3 weeks. so far i have not experienced any benefit of owning it. often when i turn it on there are icons missing from an earlier session. i have not had very good luck with the wifi or the internet. the tablet continuously wants to up grade software or down load something that i have not the foggiest notion of what it is. the calculator and the camera are the only things that the device seems capable of doing successfully. every thing else seems to be a mystery or and "app" intended to drive me crazy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Tablet

i had an earlier version for years, when it finally died, there was no other choice but to get a samsung. perfect size, easy to use and a great value

i received the galaxy taba
a few days ago. a very nice looking tablet. however it runs a little slow and it definitely does not have 13 hours of battery life. i got about 4 hours battery life after playing a few games and streaming a show. the darn thing kept buffering not sure if unit or internet connection...will figure it out..
right now, probably would not recommend this tablet because of short battery life

I've had several generations of Samsung tablets and I've liked all of them. I keep all of my games/social media stuff on the tablet so they're not on my phone. I miss having the home buttons because my fat fingers can't pull down that window and having the power cord connect at the bottom is a little inconvenient at times when charging it while trying to use it. Other than that, it's fast and effective!

Major upgrade from older Tab

battery life lasts a good long time, boots up much more quickly, expanded memory is the way to go versus external storage on an sd card. i was able to easily transfer my info over to the new tablet.
