Horrible Material

I bought this cover in May 2020 amd it was destroyed by March 2021. Ripped right apart while taking it off. I live in Delaware where we do not have any harsh weather. I never put the cover on the grill while grill is hot. Just horrible material. I’d be ashamed to sell this to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old grill cover was about 3 1/2 yrs old, mostly plastic and it dried out, cracked and split badly. Once the material started to split, it just kept going.
The new one is much sturdier, the cloth more like canvas, but still with the waterproof seal on it. It's much easier to move around - not so stiff. It also seems like it should last much longer.
Obviously OK Joe got enough complaints about the old ones that they stepped up their game.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Fit - Poor Quality Material

Bought the cover to protect my Highland Smoker. The fit was perfect and protected the smoker well. However, in less than a year the cover was brittle and began to crack. Now it's torn and failing everywhere. Now my Highland Smoker is no longer protected. Oklahoma Joe's builds a great smoker. Too bad they provide such a sub-standard cover.

Cover is splitting in half!

My smoker has been covered and under a covered patio at all times when not in use. Over a short amount of time, without so much as moving the smoker or the cover, the material has become stiff and brittle and what started out as a small tear has now grown into a full blown malfunction. Love the smoker but this is a sub-standard product - very dissapointing.

Fits decent, velcro on the firebox end is located too high, lets the wind get under and blow cover off, re-engineered with bungy

Becomes very brittle from the sun

I bought this about one year ago. My grill sits on my deck and is exposed to the sun for a good portion of the day. The vinal cover has become so brittle that it cracks and tears simply by taking it on and off the grill. Need better material for this cover.

Bought mine last summer, and just like many of the others have stated, it’s horribly designed and not made to withstand weather & sun....and that’s a problem in West TX! Very disappointed .

Love the smoker, just wished the quality of the cover matched the expectation of the brand. Not durable to take the sun exposure and winters.
