Great flashlight

This XP9R is a warranty replacement for XP7 that quit working after 7 years. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out it had a lifetime warranty and Coast replaced it with the XP9R. The XP9R is even better than the XP7. It’s slightly smaller and has a better feel to it. Light is brighter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the money ! LED melted after a few weeks! Website showed charger plugging in to the light, it did not! Had to remove battery to charge! Coast did send me a new crappie light to replace it but , now they blow up my email with junk!

A good, solid flashlight of a convenient size and very bright. Switching between brightness levels takes some getting used to, and lacks the convenient "charge the battery without removing it from the flashlight" capability of the XP11R. Also, the charger that comes with the flashlight is a USB to mini-USB type, and does not come with an adapter to plug into standard US electric outlets.
