Super tough. I use all day 5 days plus. Years of service, great battery life. Love the adjustable focus, and it doesn't just roll away when u set it down. On top of all that, it is bright!

Warranty Replacement

This flashlight was a warranty replacement for my HP5R that I had and used for many years. While the first XP9R I received did have flickering issues, coast quickly replaced it with another new one which I have been using extensively over the last few weeks. The flashlight works great at any light level and the battery lasts for a great amount of time. This light is bigger and heavier than my previous one, but is still a great light. Coast makes high quality products and offers an unbeatable customer service experience!

Lost mine in the road cars and Truck ran over it until I retraced where I drove found it. Still works. It's a little dented and scratched but still works Great

Awesome for its size!

We have three XP9R’s now and love them. Very bright for the compact size. Only gripe is that you have to remove the battery to charge it and there’s no way to know it’s getting low until it’s too late. My wife uses one to take the dogs out at night and it’s died on her a couple of times unannounced. Not cool when you’re trying to pick up poop in the dark.
Recently got the third one and found that one of the older two isn’t quite as bright and a bit yellower than the new one. I’ve heard that LED’s tend to change color over time but wouldn’t expect that with one that’s only a couple of years old and not used very often. Not complaining, just making an observation. Photo below shows the difference with the older one on the left.
