[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so i only gave it a 3 Star because it took me forever to get them to connect to my phone which is not a Samsung - i would not recommend these for other phones than Samsung users - you dont get to use all the functions nor is there a app that works with the my phone for these ear buds. Now that is my review when purchasing these i was told that they work for samsung and another phone brands which i get they do work, they are really nice and hold a charge but there is a reason they are called Samsung Galaxy Buds, you dont get use of alot of features.. Now my daughter has a Samsung and she loves them, she down loaded the app, they connected immediately - she has tons of options to use on her phone with the connectivity, battery life, keeping track of the ear buds etc. I have another brand that i use for my phone now and she said compared to my phones the Samsung Galaxy Ear Buds has so many more features. The battery life on the Galaxy Ear Buds is great - she listens to music all day long on her commute and on breaks and only charges them once a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned every model of earbuds Samsung has released. While these are lighter and smaller, they sacrifice control without the phone and gear software. My perspective has changed because I was forced to move from the android world to the dark side because of work requirements. Now I can see how Samsung has limited the prospective purchasers because they don't have software for the IOS world that will control these buds. I've always loved Samsung, however, they do themselves a disservice if they don't support all platforms allowing for a greater market share. Another problem that must be unique to me as I read other reviews, is the sound is thin without depth or bass. Now I realize if you have an android phone the gear software provides an equalizer but that's still not enough. Luckily I found foam ear tips from a third party supplier that seal off the outside noise and make these and the prior models I own sound as good as over the ear cans. I've never understood why they don't provide better foam tips standard with the purchase. If they did the reviews for sound quality would greatly improve. So, in summary, I have returned to the old models because I was forced to change ecosystems and the new model has virtually no control if used with the IOS phone where the older models provide touch control over most needed functions without software.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high expectations for these buds. I love the new design they feel more comfortable and are easier to pair with the phone. I like the new size of the buds, they're smaller than the Icon x and the case is also smaller. The new wireless charging feature makes it convenient to charge. The downside to the buds are the sound is too low. The previous model had the ability to Master control the volume on your phone. The volume control on the buds are also gone. You could slide up or down to conrol volume. These buds only have a tap system. Tap once to play/pause twice to fwd and tap three to rewind. Tap and hold to summon Bixby, Google or Alexa. These buds are a good start to better buds for next year's model.

The product is well designed and is very convenient to use. However, I believe the product can be made better. Here is what I observe: When I talk to someone while eating (not even something munchy), the sound of that is heard by the person on the other side. I believe this is due to the audio is being transferred, preferably using the internal microphone (not the external microphone). This hurts the overall experience. I think this can be easily fixed by a software/firmware update. I hope this is taken care of in later updates.

Galaxy is best!

Have had these for almost two weeks and they work great with my Galaxy S8 (even though the sound lags sometimes when I put my phone in my pocket while I'm walking) and will probably work even better with my soon to be S20 device when Samsung fully releases it. The Ambient Sound works great for me and is useful if I want to not be completely sealed off from the outside world. The Equalizer works pretty good too for different types of music as well in your playlists. If you currently have or are planning to get a Galaxy device, I can not recommend these enough!

I bought my Samsung wireless earbuds to exercise with. I absolutely love them. They fit perfectly in my ears and don't fall out. They are true wireless so nothing to catch a button on. The case actually charges the buds, plus I can put the case on my phone for wireless charging. Just awesome!

Sound quality is perfect

I've had my buds for about 3 months now. The sound quality when playing music is excellent! The fit is perfect too (I had to use the larger earbuds which were provided in the box).
The only issue I have, is the sound is terrible when making/taking calls. The person on the other line can never hear me & it always breaks up. This happens to me as well whenever my husband calls me (he has the same earbuds). It is always a muffled sound & isn't very clear.
When taking calls I prefer to use the headphones that my S10+ came with.
