Stick With It Before You Give Up

It takes a little time to get comfortable with the NordicTrack X16, but once your body develops some muscle memory and your core adjusts to maintaining stability, the workouts become much more enjoyable. Compared to traditional ellipticals, this machine engages a wider range of muscles, which really helps improve overall strength and balance - especially important as you move into your 50s and beyond.
The transition from a standard elliptical took me a few weeks, but now that I’ve learned how to use it properly, I can really feel the benefits. My workouts feel more complete, and I can tell it’s targeting muscles my old machine never reached. The only downside is that cool-downs can be a bit tricky to perform smoothly, but that’s a small trade-off for the overall results.

Overall OK, looks of squeaking. I called for help on this and and was told nothing could be done to help. Very disappointing.
The line help videos were not relevant.

Took a while to get used to but enjoying the low impact workout

Took a while for my wife and daughter to get used to the stride and height of the machine. Thankful we have 9 foot ceilings on our first floor or we’d be bumping our heads. Didn’t realize it would be so tall.
We have noticed a squeak when working out on the right side where the handle connects to the upright support. It was occasional at first but has become more regular with use. I believe it is in the pivot point that connects the upper arm to the lower leg bar. Seems to be coming from where it rotates at the upper support bar. The machine is stable and not rocking-just squeaking.
Otherwise the girls enjoy the machine. I have only used it a couple times. I mainly use my Nordictrack Step Climber XL.

Loud creaking sounds, very poor service

The elliptical makes a lot of noise, on triage fly wheel was broken. Attempted to have the “service” team repair it. Worked for 2 days, now the creaking is worse. Appears to have major problems with flywheels per the repair tech. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Still waiting for them to repair!

LOVE IT

I never thought of myself as a runner. I'm built like a farmer! But this machine actually lets me run without destroying my joints. And I have travelled to more places in the last 45 days than I have in my entire life. . . hiking in the Canadian mountains, walking in Australia and running in Portugal. Love the iFit. I actually look forward to my workout.

I was able to utilize NordicTrack's Trade in program which allowed me to upgrade from an Elliptical that was about 8 yrs old.
