One of my favorite parts of this purchase was the option of not having the water and ice component on the door. We didn't need it and the fridge looks great without it.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Ice maker hasn't worked yet

We bought this product, had it installed Sept. 19th.....we still don't get ice. It took 14 minutes to get the LG customer service people to agree to send someone out.....they should be here in an hour or so. Don't buy LG refrigerators until they get the ice maker problem under control. I'm a pretty easy going person and this isn't okay for the money we paid.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great French Door fridge

We wanted a basic french door fridge - without the ice maker / water dispensor in the front door. We drink alot of water (very active) and have a reverse osmosis filter at the sink. So when we bike, play tennis, hike, etc., we take reusable water bottles with us. We fill those bottle from the filtered tap at the sink and place in the fridge to cool. We also did not want to loose valuable door space that would be taken up by an ice / water dispenser.
We found that most refridgerators that do not have the ice / water dispenser are lowere quality. Not so with this fridge. Very high quality and very energy efficient.
We spent several months reading reviews and shopping around before selecting this fridge.
Also very much liked the freezer configuration.

The Best Fridge Out There!!!!

My wife and I did a bunch of research prior to purchasing a refrigerator. We looked at every model and brand out there, but we always kept coming back to this LG model. It became evident very quickly that we were making the right decision. It's roomy, functional, and looks great in our new kitchen. Thanks LG for making AFFORDABLE and QUALITY products!

Quit sound wise but not RF

Have had this unit for over a year, very good over all, really quit sound wise. If you are a short wave listener or Amateur radio op be aware the induction motor has spikes every 2.4 kc. on 40 meters of -97 or S5 and white noise of -105 or S3-4 some spikes and noise on 20 meters but only -120 S1. Added 3 clamp of ferrite cores spike now at -110 noise at -120

The best organized refrigerator

At last I can find everything in my refrigerator and freezer! I love this refrigerator; it has the best layout. The sliding shelves makes it easy to find small items that may have been moved to the back of the refrigerator. The freezer is also well designed. No more throwing away outday foods. Thanks LG.

This is a wonderful refrigerator. Everything works perfectly and the design is great. Very intelligent design and lots of usable space. None wasted at all. I can open only one door to take out most used items like half & half to save energy. The ice maker is just right for our family. The bottom freezer is convenient and easy to access. Buy this fridge.
