My old refrigerator was 30+ years old and making noises when the compressor came on so decided to search for a new one before the old one "gave up the ghost". Looked at many other brands but really liked the clear glass shelves and veggie/meat bins. Checked out the reliability and quality of the LG's and found very good reviews from customers and store employees. I've had my fridge for about a month now and love it except for a few small things. Found that the veggie bins (although larger than my old ones) are not tall enough to accommodate all the vegetables that I purchase. I love all the door shelves cause that's where all my bottles go so it frees up the main refrigerator space. It's nice having lots of space for regular food items instead of bottles, yogurt containers, etc. taking up that space. Great fridge. Very quiet operation (don't even know it's on). Looks very modern.
I researched refrigerators for over 2 months. I had a budget, so I didn't expect to get all the bells and whistles, but I got an awesome refrigerator anyway. I didn't want stainless steel because of the fingerprints and it's a pain to clean, but while I was in the store, I put my hand on the surface of this refrigerator and was shocked to find that it didn't get marked up very easily. I am happy I did end up getting the stainless, it's beautiful. I really love everything about this refrigerator. The size, the amount of room, the drawers inside, the amount of light, the freezer, the ice maker and the quiet. It is so quiet you don't even know it's running. Such a change from my last refrigerator. On top of it all, this refrigerator is rated a tier III, which means it uses less energy than most others. I had a side by side before this that had water and ice on the door. It was convenient, but I don't miss it at all. This refrigerator is everything I could possibly want. I cook a lot and I buy a lot of fresh produce. I have noticed that the food stays fresher longer and nothing gets lost inside because it is spacious and so well lit. I know where everything is. The shelves on the doors hold a multitude of items. I've been able to organize it so well, it is a cook's best friend. I have no complaints about this refrigerator, only compliments. I would recommend this highly to friends and family.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, the produce and deli drawers, freezer set up, quiet, energy saver
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just what we wanted

We wanted exactly this type of fridge, French Door, Freezer on the bottom, and not through the door water or Ice. This model gave us all this with a really useful interior design and a lot more room that its size seems to imply. It runs quiet, and efficiently and not least it came through the rather small entryway to our kitchen that no other similar capacity would do
Our almost 16 year old side by side fridge was on the fritz, so since the energy saver rebates were available, we thought it would be a good time to replace it.
Though a 'step up " in price from side by sides, we decided to go with the french door model. We shopped several different brands, but in the end, this LG model won out. Design-wise, it was 'sleeker' than other brands, and the drawer in the freezer was sturdier.
Now, having had it at home for about a month, we are loving it. The refrigerator section is very spacious. The adjustable, pull-out shelves are indispensable. And the new led light is a great improvement over the regular lamp. My only complaint about this section is that I wish the bottom meat drawer was split in half so it wouldn't require both fridge doors to be completely open in order for it to be used.
Having had a side-by-side fridge, I thought that the drawer style freezer would be difficult to get used to, but it hasn't! The divider keeps my meats/fish separated from packaged foods. The little wire rack at the top, near the handle, is great for keeping the kids' icepacks handy. The icemaker is nicely hidden, and the top pullout drawer is deep enough to keep all of our ice cream and smaller frozen goods.
One tip: keep the door alarm on. Since it's a french door style fridge, it does require a little push to close the doors. There have been several instances already when one of our kids have not shut it completely. The alarm is very useful!
Our 13yo fridge was not working anymore and needed to purchase a new one. Shopping around I came across this LG fridge. I really liked the design, look, and the price was right so I purchased it. When it was delivered and actually in my home, I was truly impressed. First, it looked absolutely beautiful in my kitchen. Second, there is so much more space than I really anticipated! It also worked extremely well and very easy to use. This was the the best refrigerator purchase I have ever made I couldn't be happier!
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

Like the way its compartmentalized and the separate settings for fruits/veggies is nice. Seems to be of good quality. Plus, digging the bottom freezer.

I had been looking for a french door refrigerator with a bottom freezer and no ice maker in the door itself for quite some time. When I saw the LG advertised in a local paper, it appeared to be exactly what i was looking for and it was on sale to boot! I purchased it a little over one month ago and I am so happy I did. It has all the features that I wanted and then some. It has plenty of storage space, is great looking and does an excellent job in keeping things well refrigerated not to mention that it is energy efficient.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality, Style/Design, easy to use

Pretty good with room for improvement

Since we don't have a large kitchen, we only have a counter depth fridge inside (a 21CF LG french-door). With three teens, we needed a lot more space than that, so I bought this fridge to replace an old one in the garage.
The fridge looks really nice inside and out, and it has a lot of space. I like the way the drawers slide open/close -- smooth and high quality -- unlike what the other brands have to offer. Also, if the energy star rating is correct, it's the most efficient fridge I've found.
One area that needs improvement is that the french doors must be closed firmly or with a slight slam. Otherwise, a gap remains. Although there's an alarm that goes off if any of the doors stays open too long, you may not hear it if you're not nearby. My other 4yr-old LG french-door doesn't have that problem.
I don't regret getting it and still think it's the best one for my needs.
