My First Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher to match my Frigidaire Fridge and Stove. I was new to this and also was trying to fit a budget as this was my first home. I, however, did not want to be cheap, so I did research as best I could for a good dishwasher. So far I have not been really able to put it to the test as I am still only a few weeks into my home, and no real cooking has been involved. Yet, from normal washing, my only complaint is the drying...The dishes are still wet and the washer is still wet. Which concerns me for mildew and overgrowth.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We are happy to hear you chose Frigidaire products as your first home appliance purchase! To help with the best dry performance, we recommend using rinse aid. Rinse aid should prevent water from sticking to dishes and the tub after the dry cycle and allow it to quickly drain out the bottom. To prevent any mold growth or sitting water, we may recommend cracking the door to vent if dishes will be sitting inside for a time. We also advise to periodically clean the interior of the dishwasher by running an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar. Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a brand unit bought in the home I purchased and it doesn't clean the dishes very well. We have to wash them before we put them in the dishwasher we can't just rinse them and put them in because they won't come clean. Not to happy with this dishwasher.

Any kinks or clogs within your drain hose?
If your drain line is attached to a disposer, ensure that the knockout plug has been removed.
Have you checked your water temperature? Please review page 7 of your dishwasher’s “Use & Care” guide on how to check your household’s water temp and other helpful tips.
Your household water temperature along with the water pressure plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. The recommended temperature should be 120°F (49°C) and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi).
Did you know? Your dishes need to be dirty for the dishwasher detergent to do its job. Pre-washing or rinsing dishes inhibits your detergent from working. Enzymes in the detergent are designed to attach themselves to food particles.
