Great simple to use dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over 2 months ago and I wanted simple to use(and less to go wrong).I prefer to use the air dry and know I may have water sitting in the tops of dishes with a concave top. I have found it is easier to get them to dry if I open the door soon after cycle is done and blot those items and they dry with residual heat. I do wish it had a rinse and hold cycle,though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a month ago and it had flooded my floors 3 times the water valve does not cut off and continues to push water through the dishwasher even when it is not on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awful.

We’ve had this dishwasher for maybe a year now, and it is by far the worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I am aware that it is not a “top of the line” product, but for how much it actually was, it’s been one faulty problem after another. Even after having a technician come out to fix it once before, months later, it’s now much worse. Either the timer is bad, or there is a valve issue, but every wash ends up leaving at least an inch or two of water not drained. It takes WAY too long to manually drain it by constantly cycling it to the area of the timer that SOUNDS like it is draining, when most of the time, it is not. Also, it barely dries the dishes on ‘heat dry’... and now, the door hinge (bottom of door upon opening) has apparently decided to break. Maybe the spring? It just falls down without any traction; just straight falls down. Wow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just terrible.

We rent a home and after our first dishwasher (different/older model) died, the homeowners decided to install this lovely piece. We have had it for just over a year, and have fought with it the entire time. It doesn’t dry completely (even with rinse aid), sometimes doesn’t drain, the top of the machine bowed out so we have to reach under the countertop and press down in order for the door to close, and the rotating arm has now fallen off twice and melted. Piece of junk!

Hello, Duff02! Thank you for your feedback! We sincerely apologize for your experience with your Frigidaire 24" Built-In Dishwasher. In regards to the dishwasher not drying the dishes, make sure that air dry is not being selected, this will result in wet dishes. For optimum drying performance, using a rinse aid has proven to be helpful. Also try using the Hi-Temp Wash option on the model. During the hi-temp wash option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. The increased water temperature helps the dishwasher detergent removes food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. If your appliance is not draining properly, please check to make sure that there are no particles stuck in the base of the appliance. For additional assistance, please contact us directly at 800-374-4432 M-F, 8:30 am- 8:00 pm. ~Briana

Do not buy

When we bought our new mobile home this was the dishwasher they put in it. I has never worked like I think it should have. Now it doesn't clean dishes at all and is useless to me. The local appliance people won't even come work on it. We've had it less than three years. Very disappointed!!! Nor looking forward to forking out money to buy a new one. Not sure I would buy this brand again as we have had problems with our ice maker in a Frigidere refrigerator.

Have you checked your drain hose for any kinks or clogs?
I recommend checking your water temperature. Please review pages 9-11 of your dishwasher’s “Use & Care” guide on how to check your household’s water temp and other helpful tips.
Your household water temperature along with the water pressure plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. The recommended temperature should be 120°F (49°C), and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi).
Did you know? Your dishes need to be dirty for the dishwasher detergent to do its job. Pre-washing or rinsing dishes inhibits your detergent from working. Enzymes in the detergent are designed to attach themselves to food particles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it's quite. Only thing I don't like is that the sample packs that come with that are "recommended" for the product leaves a slime residue on some of my plates, cups, cooking and eating utensils.
