Not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this dishwasher, brand new, with our new home, the first time it was used it smelled horrible, like it had burned, still smells the same with every wash, doesnt dry, everything is wet, full of water otherwise its quiet and runs ok

I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater. Please know that plastic items like Tupperware or plastic plates are more porous and will take longer to dry and may still be wet after the drying cycle. Also, you may find that running a hot empty cycle with a cup of bleach or vinegar and leaving the door slightly open after use will help with the smell. I hope this information is helpful. Great washer!

Smells like plastic, doesn't dry!

I bought this exactly one month ago because it was cheap and, believe me, you get what you pay form. The new plastic smell is HORRIBLE and won't go away! I even tried using vinegar several times and even that won't work, not to mention it will never dry the dishes no matter what. I'm only giving this 2 stars (I'd give it one!) only because it's a slight step up from our previous dishwasher which broke down after many years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here are some tips for your dishwasher, increase your rinse aid on the dispenser, this will help with your dishes drying. For the odor in the dishwasher, once you have completed the cycle and the dishwasher is dry place a bowl of baking soda in the dishwasher while it is not in use. Disappointed to learn this unit is MADE IN CHINA

My Frigidaire dishwasher has provided reliable service for 15 years but the pump has started making noise. I wanted to stick with a reliable brand. I liked this model until I opened the door and read the label on the edge. I was surprised to see "MADE IN CHINA" Sad because lesser Frigidaire models still appear to be American made. (However, this is not clearly stated on most of them) I will be choosing another brand and encourage everybody to read the label inside the door as Frigidaire appears to be quietly outsourcing. Better products exist in this price range that support American jobs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
