Does not rinse soap off of dishes, and neither drying cycle really dries the dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is not the experience we would like you to have from our dishwasher.
Typically, if your dishwasher’s soap dispenser is not opening; the water pressure may not be coming into the dishwasher at the recommended pressure or temperature. I recommend checking your water temperature and pressure. The suggested water temperature should be 120°F and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi). Do not forget rinse aid does wonders with improving the drying process.
