Nice dishwasher for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice dishwasher and it runs quietly. However, it was difficult to install because of the water supply hookup. The installation instructions said it had two ways to hook up the water supply. One way was supposed to be with the water line used on the old supply but it was not possible to hook it up that way. The only way to hook the water supply up to the new inlet valve was to use a hose like the one used on a clothes washer. It also says it has a dual level wash system but I'm not sure what that means since it only has one wash wand in the bottom of the dishwasher. The old dishwasher I replaced was also a Frigidaire and looked just like this one but it also had a second wash wand in the top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dishwasher last month. It's the same type as our old one which we had for over 15 years. It's much quieter than our old one and does a great job cleaning the dishes and glassware. The only complaint is the difference in the silverware tray. It is smaller and items don't spread out as well so they don't always dry completely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with a DR Horton home we bought. I'm sorry, but this is a poor excuse for a dishwasher. Only has a single sprayer on the bottom of the unit. Only shallow, cheap plastic plates fit in the racks cause they are all straight with no bends. Doesn't dry AT ALL! Even with heated dry on everything is soaked. Because it just has the single sprayer nothing on the top rack gets clean. You basically have to hand wash it before you wash it. Tried several different detergents including the recommmended brand, which is just a marketing gimmick anyway, to no avail. Lastly its got a chintzy rotary dial with two options, heavy and normal, and a cheeeeaaaap plastic bezel. Junk. Pure Junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ouch Marc! I hate that you are not satisfied with the make of your dishwasher. A tip that may alleviate your cleaning and drying matter is to ensure that the incoming water is 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Ensuring that the incoming water is correct and using rinse aid, can possibly assist with your dishes drying properly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this one. I hate it. It is very cheap. It is not quiet. I can hear it running when I am downstairs.Also it is VERY TINY. It will take 2 washes to do dishes for a family of 4 for the day. ( dont even think about having a big gathering, it will take 2 days to do all the dishes in the dishwasher.) I used it for the first time yesterday, and 1 hour after it had finished, I decided to unload it to put dishes away. I opened the door and water was all over inside. Not standing water but the dishes were soaking wet and the entire inside was like a rain storm just hit. I felt some heat, but really????? 1 hour after the wash, its all still VERY wet. Returning this one and looking for something different.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recommend making sure that the house water is coming in at 120 degrees, the “Heat Dry” option is selected, you’re using the correct amount of Rinse Aid, and that no heavy mineral or calcium scale is covering the heater.
