Ucf2222, I am glad to hear you are happy with your new dishwasher. There will be a “new” smell when first installed. This is normal. Ensure you run the dishwasher regularly - whether a full load is available or not. Soiled dishes left in dishwasher too long can create an odor. You can try using a dishwasher cleaning product and run a normal cycle without any dishes, to clean and deodorize unit. My New Frigidaire Diswasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never owned Frigidaire prior to this purchase which came as part of an appliance package with my new house. My old dishwasher was over 12 years old and just simply didn't do the job anymore, but this new Frigidaire, wow, what a difference! It works great, runs very quietly and I love the stainless-no fingerprint aspect as well as the feature of the little window letting me know how much rinse agent I have left. I love it.
