Just awful

I just bought a house and the previous owner bought this dishwasher brand new for the new home owners. It is the worst dishwasher I have ever used for 5 reasons.
1. It gets stuck on the cycle and it runs for hours. I mean after 4 hours and a half I have to move the cycle myself so it can keep on going.
2. It leaves the dishes dirty with a sticky greasy layer.
3. It does NOT dry the dishes, not in heat dry, not in air dry...nothing!
4. Water accumulates at the bottom.
5. It doesn't have too many options for anything. Really basic. Although this have nothing to do with performance but it's a valid point if you are looking to buy this specific model.
Needless to say, I am washing dishes by hand and I am replacing this dishwasher ASAP! But definitely not choosing this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amanda_005, congratulations on the new home! I am dismayed to hear you are dissatisfied with your dishwasher. I have some information that may help. Some cleaning and drying challenges can be directly related to water temperature. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the cycle will be lengthened for automatic water heating in the main wash and final rinse of all cycles. To aid cleaning and drying, please ensure incoming water temperature is at least 120°F. Run the water in the sink before starting a cycle (like you would do before stepping into the shower). Always use rinse aid, you can also increase the amount of rinse aid that is dispensed to see if that helps (please see page 7 in your Owner’s Manual for directions and more information).
