It is recommended that the nearest sink water be ran before starting your dishwasher to make sure that the water will reach the required temperature to clean your dishes. I also recommend making sure that your dishes are not blocking the spray arms and that they are free to rotate. Is the residue food that's left on your dishes or is it a cloudy or filmy particle?
