The product does the job, but that's about it. I am very disappointed with the heat drying. My previous 20+ year old dishwasher did a better job of drying dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bailey2005, thank you for your review. I understand that you feel that the dishwasher is not drying the dishes properly. I would recommend checking a few things; Check and make sure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to underperform. Over the last few years Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increases the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes. Having some hiccups.

Purchased this unit, January of this year from a local home improvement store. It has been a pretty good unit up until a day ago. The dishwasher arm somehow became dislodged and yeap, you guessed it...fell over on the heating element and melted. It is possible that part of the problem is user error (possibly miss loading it lead to the malfunction)? The customer service department is closed right now, I will call tomorrow to see if I can order a new part. I have to say that I have not owned very many dishwashers in my life, but I have installed a ton of them when I worked for an appliance company in the past. This is actually the first machine I have ever owned. The selling point was that it was so affordable. I was a little surprised to find that the water hook up on the unit was made of plastic. The installs I did in the pass with other machines had a brass style fitting. I am optimistic that Frigidaire will do a good job of helping me solve my problem when I call them tomorrow.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item about a month ago. My last dishwasher was all electronic buttons. Once of the buttons failed to work anymore and locked the dishwasher into cancel and drain. This one is mainly a basic turn knob, for functions. A slide knob for heat dry or not. Love the clean dishes, as doing them by hand is really not something I enjoyed doing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with my new house. Ran 2 loads. Washer arms don't work. Repair man coming out to fix it. It would seem that if the dishwasher is new, it should work.

Very Basic

Not the best, it holds a smaller amount then my old appliance and does not do a better job, which surprised me, being new.
