Being able to take the scissors apart is fantastic, especially when using to open packages of chicken...I feel much more confident that I can clean them thoroughly and avoid bacteria from collecting in the mechanism. I'm getting one for each of my two sons' homes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shears arrived sharp out of the box and excel at all kitchen tasks including snipping twine, cutting herbs, and deboning poultry. The handles are large and easy to grip, a must when dealing with slippery tasks. Also great is the take-apart feature of the shears, which makes them easy to clean and prevents rusting at the pivot. These are excellent shears, and given the price are a no-brainer purchase.
