These shears are awesome. I love that I can take them a part and clean them. I don't have to worry about any bacteria getting inside them from cutting raw meat. They are super sharp too. All in all, definitely worth the buy.

These are very sharp. Despite being able to take them apart, the blades are very close and function precisely. The finishing work is excellent. They feel lovely to hold. One reviewer said her scissors do not come apart. Mine come apart easily. On the side opposite the blue decoration, you can see the slot and the part that goes into the slot. If I hold mine with blue button up, then open blades all the way, they just fall open when the slot aligns with the piece that fits into it.
