The hinge where the scissors come apart is rusting only after 2 weeks. We take them apart and dry them before putting them away and they're still showing rust. They work well.

Kitchen shears that not only get the job done, but they pull apart so you can thoroughly clean and sanitize them. It did take a little elbow grease to dismantle them the first few uses. It is such a relief not worrying about lingering bacteria that you can’t reach between the crevices of non pull apart shears.

Greatest feature is that these come apart for cleaning. I have had kitchen shears that do not come apart and always feel a bit like they are not entirely clean. Super sharp too, and at a great price.

Henckel Quality in Kitchen Shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned Henckel knives for years it was a no brainer to replace the kitchen shears that somehow got left at beach rental with Henckel’s! They are great! Highly recommended! Hopefully my old scissors are safely in a drawer in the OBX because I won’t be taking these to the beach house in the spring!

Everybody needs at least one great kitchen shears. They handle the day to day tasks of cutting open bags, opening bottles and sometimes cutting chicken or bacon. I love that they come apart so they can be thoroughly cleaned.
